You can do a full play through obtaining the same galactic readiness level without ever touching it if you don't want too.

I wouldn't have believed that comment, except I saw a trailer which briefly showed a character selection screen for multiplayer and it only showed a female quarian for the engineer and infiltrator class. Either way I'm going to be an infiltrator.

Using a shotgun on shields, not using charge to engage enemies without shield/barrrier/tech armor etc, not to mention his aim is incredibly bad... and at 5.5 minutes he fails to take cover twice when almost dead before finally managing it? I agree with epicwoolstar.... gamer812... you ARE doing it wrong.

I think co-op is nice addiction, why? because I believe SP is still the 90% of the game and this co op is just a treat. I welcome it because it give a somewhat diferent replayability. It's welcome as long as SP is what matters, and MP is just a time killer. and EA stop messing with Bioware!!! GRR

Multiplayer is just icing on the cake and if Mass Effect 1 and 2 have anything to tell about it, Bioware will not fall short on the singleplayer just because of the multiplayer. It is still a great, rich, branching, character-based story experience. Multiplayer will be a nice complement to the SP.

@NukuDoi i agree. while i was hesitant at first when hearing the addition of multiplayer, co-op is a different story and it seems to be tied into the single-player nicely. it's also quite cool to be able to play as different races - co-op could also make mass effect's deep power system shine. i'm looking forward to it, as someone who's played and loved me since 2007 :)

Looks like it would get boring fairly quick. I hope there's some sort of PvP interaction to make things more interesting. I could never really get into the whole "everyone vs AI survival mode" thing, like in Gears of War Horde or Halo Reach Firefight.

@Skoomax Judging by this brief look it seems like the enemies become stronger with better damage/weapons etc but the AI stays the same. Often they seem to have a good position and either stand and stare for a few seconds or run away needlessly.

Just seems a little poor to me. It's only a gimmick of course, if the story mode is anything like the last one then I won't be taking any interest in multiplayer as i'll be enjoying that too much, but still.

Co-op is not necessary to get 100% on the story mode, that has been mentioned already.

@Mills997 you can play any at any time. so lets say I'm a level 10 soldier, I can switch to a level 1 adept and work on that class. each class has it's own individual level. when you first start off, each class is level one. so if you leveled up the adept and soldier only, all the other classes stay level 1. hope that helps.
