They should let a company like "Ubisoft or Midway" do this game. I think they would've brought a stylistic approach to the look of the game. I know for a fact that "Midway" would've made it a whole more fun to play; I wish they were still around.
I borrowed this game from the library and for some reason i can't here anything int he video clips. On the menu i can here the sound effects as I click things but nothing else does anyone know why this may be the case?
this game is awesome ive beat it like 6 times!!! once of the best in my opinion... i use to have the original version on the PC... idk what happened to it man both of them were kick ass..... any body know where i can find it??
Great game but some parts are so damn hard it makes it not so fun.I tried downloading a trainer for it to edit and cheat but it would not run.Anyone have any ideas for cheats on this PC version?
Not sure what you're trying to say here? But anyway Dragons Lair was released in June 1983 three years before the very first Zelda game came out on the Famicon system & 4 years before the US & Europe releases in 1987.
I read this game was released in 2003, but I remember an older Dragon's Lair 3D game, released in 2000 or 2001 where the main character was displayed with gouraud shading (and NOT cel-shading like in this game). Does it exist or I'm just imagining things?

It usually displays the game's title screen, the game's story (if it has one), its high score list, and the message "Game Over" or "Insert Coin" over or in addition to a computer-controlled demonstration of gameplay.
Dragon's Lair's attract mode could be heard throughout the arcade, it sounded magical and made you want to play it.
I'm Suprise this is not a DS game

This game looks like it needs the serious God of war treatment so it will feel more like Dragons lair.

Probably what happened was the person that had it before you deleted the sound effects, music, etc.
If you look around on the internet you maybe able to downlaod the sound stuff and fix it for the next person to enjoy :)

It's a problem with the Bink video system. Lot's of PC game video problems with earlier titles that used the BINK video dll files.

No I don't. I have that many games I never seem to get round to finishing them................or even half way through them.
This is another of those games I keep promising myself I will play through one day !

I see. I've gotten stuck at a couple of levels, including crypt creeps, and I am currently working on the Castle Sewers.

Have they made a Dragon's Lair that uses 3D versions of the scenes and the same control method the original used?

When I was little I was totally mesmerised by the original Dragon's Lair in the arcade, but my mum would never give me 10p to actually play it.
Just as well, in retrospect!
kojiki1976 3 years ago
Me too. I loved the "attract mode" that lured people into playing it. I couldn't afford it but spent hours watching others play it.
macwhoelse 3 years ago
what's attract mode?
batrider2007 3 years ago
From Wikipedia:-
A game's attract mode is the display it shows when nobody is playing the game. It's purpose is to attract passers-by to play the game.
