OMG! You don't have a stash there, looks like you bought the whole store! LOL! It is all so beautiful! I LOVE K&Company items. I'm building my stash too. It will take me quite some time to fill a box like that! lol ;-) I'm new to all this... and this is the first video of yours that I'm seeing so far, can't wait to see your finished work of art! Lovely, just lovely! ;-)
Hi. I'm new to this kind of thing. I've tried (and failed!) to make a 12x12 paper scrapbook album as a baby book for my daughter so thought I'd try a mini using chipboard as they look nicer and smaller - and therefore have less space to fill! I read on another of your comments on a different video that you get the mini book from createforless(dot)com. I wondered whether you'd know whether they post to the UK or not?
Thanks for this video - helps me work out which stuff in my craft stash to use!
@specialnprecious I don't know if they ship Internationally or not, unfortunately. If not, you could try eBay. I hope you find some chipboard at a good price. :D
@amy1996khan K&Company is sold at Michael's, JoAnn's, local scrapbook stores and online. You can get it pretty much everywhere, including the manufacturer's website. Good luck! :D
Ms. Jules reffered you to me and I loved your channel! That is perfect! It is exactly what I do and I thought I was crazy for doing it! Glad to know that there is someone else out there especially such a talented one like yourself. Congrats for the videos and thanks for sharing the knowledge! Hugs from Brazil!
Katherine- your box will have more product than I have in my entire scrapbooking area! LOL-I'm sure you could make a library of books. It's all gorgeous and who can resist anything with butterflies! I look forward to seeing your creation. -Raquel
I want you to know how much I appreciate you taking the time to make this very informative video. I'm just really getting started and this helps so much! I can't wait to see how this mini comes out. It will be beautiful! TFS!
Hi Kathyrn, great video. I've started putting items into a box too, it makes it so much easier, but I ocassionally add to the box as I am going along. Every time I watch one of your videos I want to go shopping afterwards, I have none of the Flora and Fauna stuff and now want it all. Can't wait to see the finished mini. Best wishes.
@littlegigglingpixie Oh, yes, I have added to the box since this video & if I am inspired while working on the mini to use something in my scraproom that I haven't pulled into the box, I always will. I don't limit myself just to the box, but the box does help me pull some great stuff to use on my minis before I forget I have them!
Awesome!! You have so many beautiful things! No wonder your albums are so beautiful! I will use this idea to start my mini album!! Thanks for the tip!!
I did a video sort of like this - I never EVER create a mini with everything in my room. I do the same thing you are doing. I feel like if you have too many choices it's like sending a kid in with a thousand toys. They don't know what to play with! If your choices are limited, then you are more creative with what you have at hand. I also feel like I work faster that way. Thanks for sharing! I LOVE everything you do!
@tkdgalsamm Thank you so much ~ so glad you're enjoying everything! I agree with you that I have a tough time trying to make a decision about a particular page element from the entire room. I think it's because I have a tendency towards perfectionism, so I will waffle back and forth forever if I don't limit my choices a little bit.
THANK YOU for doing this. I do the same thing, but I was thinking that it was making it harder on me. I get aggrivated with the overflowing box of goodness... LOL :))
@GoinCriCrAzY Well, I normally empty the box into several piles all over my floor and room ~ that makes it easier to see and get to everything. Then when I'm done scrapping for the day, I clean up by putting it all back into the box to contain the chaos a little bit. ;D
would love to see a video on after you finish making the mini, how much stuff is left? i would love to see this kind of before and after type video, or maybe on the ustream?
@angelachiazzese That would be fun to do! I will definitely show what's left of the box when I do the video oon the completed album. There will be a lot of stuff left because I pull WAY more stuff than I need, but it will be cool to see how much of a dent I am able to make. :D
Amazing hot mess of stuff! I do my minis the same way, its inspiration of it's own to have all that stuff around you when you're working. I can't wait to see the final mini!
I learn something new from you every day, whether its an organizing tip, a new way to make a mini, or just a better way to prepare yourself for a project. Thank you for always sharing your techniques with us. Can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks for sharing this Kathryn.....I do the same thing before I start a project I call it "going shopping in my stash" It really does help me to use things I may have otherwise missed and it also keeps me from up and down and running around "looking" for things (which interrupts the creative flow). Look forward to seeing your finished mini
@CrysTvsky Those were included in the kit, lol! My track record is still clean ~ I have never bought a $1.00 stamp ever, although I do have four or five sets now due to gifts. :D
I am so looking forward to this mini. I am making an heritage album. I have so many family pictures to share and stories to tell. This seems like a perfect forum.
I am also feeling inspired for a change. Something new! I was in such a rut. So thanks for the inspiration........see you on Saturday!
@mrsjudys I'm so glad you're feeling inspired! I love that feeling of not being able to wait to work on a project because you're so excited about it! Glad you're out of your rut!!!
@CarolinasCreations Thanks so much! I am REALLY excited to work on this album, so I'm going to try and make it extra awesome! I'll do another YouTube video when it's done!

See you Saturday!
