Hi Carl, I'm new to your videos, but I think they're great. I'm a 13 year old girl and I use my dad's lathe at home. I have a great interest in woodworking. I think I'm going to try this, thanks.
Very nice Carl,I enjoy all your videos and have learned a lot by watching you..I tried the hot glue finally, all I can say is it works great and saves a lot of time..Keep the vids coming..There great..
You have by far the absolute BEST turning videos Carl, I have learned so much from you and anxiously await each new posting. I take my laptop out to my woodshed and try to duplicate the projects .... not close to being as good as you, but have such a fun time trying!! You rock!!
awesome vid Carl, loving this because i was thinking of making a square dish as one of my upcoming projects. just got a new chuck and i'm trying new things that i was not able to do with my rig before. thanks!
Today I will Turn a square bowl using a log that i have in the garage
Question:
in order to avoid manual sanding or an accident during the sanding of the edges of the square bowl do you recommend to use a tool like the Sand Master or similar?
Good one, Carl. I've got a block of cherry about the same size as the one you used. Now I know what to do with it. Thanks for the inspiration...again.
very neat project indeed i must try it soon! as soon as my shop is cleared out a little! just curious if you send those paint blocks still and if you do do you sent them to Canada? thank you
Beautiful

Hi Carl. I decided to get one of the Lathes from you. Just wanted to ask what size roughing gouge is good for a beginner? 1", 1 1/2"?
MrLeonard55 5 months ago
That's great Leonard. What did you decide on? My roughing gouge is an 1 1/4 and I am very happy with it.
Thank you,
Carl
