The main purple VST that he uses is a freeware vst instrument called "Monomate" by tweak bench. Google it, it's on a site with lots of good freeware vsts :)

I can't say what XP pack he's using for nexus, but for the first synth he uses tb monomate, and then he added on dblue glitch. on dblue glitch paint the whole bar with "crush" or "crusher" (i forget the exact name) and set quantize to 2. hope this helps

This isn't quite a tutorial, what instruments did you used, what are you doing at some points you know. It's easier for us to follow, because we (the not pro's) need these tutorials to learn...

@TheDirtySounds This is actually a great tutorial, you can see everything he's doing so theres not a lot of need for explantion if you know a bit about fl studio or producing music in general. He used a basic square osc (monomate) and added some porta (the gliding pitch sound) over compressed a kick and side chained it (using one of many methods) with the peak controller.

He created a bassline in the key he wanted and chopped it a bit and bam! the basic formula for a song!
