so what about it capcom vs snk2 doesn't use high graphic so it run great. Try running a game like God of War. Woudn't run great because the usb port is 1.1. I have fat ps2 with mcboot /hdloader it run 100% better than usbdrive or EHDD or your modchip. I have slim that run games over the network

dude, just search for "thunder pro gold II" PS2 modchip and you'll see that it ain't no fack stuff......... I've just bought this year a PS2 with that modchip and it works nice... and you don't need a memory card cuz u can save your games directly in a pen drive thru USB connection...

You need to format the flash drive differently. It needs to be in the FAT32 format. Plug the flash drive into a windows computer, right click on the drive, and click format. Macs can't read or format this format.

Never done that. But I do know that with IDE HDDs ("Fat" PS2s) it's possible to run AVIs... It's not as good as it is on the Xbox though.

Well, it depends. But I mostly use ImgBurn to rip my games.

As for your second question, by "program" if you mean:

(1) the ripping one--that would be obviously useless (why would you want to do that anyway?)

Pen drives only go up to 8 or 16gb, it's better to use a USB hard drive which are available up to 1TB or so, 640gb USB drives are pretty cheap nowadays.

Here in Brazil it's not hard to find. I bought it in a local shop and the guy there installed it for me. I gave it a fast look on ebay but I think it's harder to find it out of Brazil.

People, this is a regular flashdrive, nothing special about it :) Doesn't need to be Sony's. I put "pendrive" cause this is how we usually call these flash devices here in Brazil.

To all the ones who asked: yes, this is for real. "Pen Drive Loader" showed in the video is a modified version of USB Advance. The modchip I'm using is a Brazilian model called "Thunder Pro II", and it's capable of booting directly from the pendrive (flashdrive). But I guess that everyone who's got a Matrix Infinity, DMC3/4, etc will also manage to run games from a pendrive... Those will just need to put the loader in the memory card, boot from it and then load the game from the pendrive.

xGetBoredx is right (and I didn't say anything in other direction). As I said before, DEV3 is not a requirement, it just makes the thing faster.

You can use the "loader" copied to a memory card, boot from it and then load the game from pendrive/flashdrive.
