dude iron maiden DEFINES metal. They sell out over packed stadiums of over 400,000 People. People wait and sleep in the roads 6 days before a show, they have inspired countless bands of today and got to where they are at WITHOUT the help of the Media/radio. They did it THIER WAY. and thats METAL.

i was saying that i dont think maiden has the word METAL in their minds when they write songs, its just comes out sounding metal because the way they play and their huge sound with 6 people
