This happened with me but with an UNCOMMON moga.I was trying to evolve him to a super rare moga, but I had to use 20 star seads to do it because he just wouldn't go in. I evolved him though, but it took 7 evolution potions and 6 of him.

I accidently killed Spike while trying to catch it and i really wanted it...

But can you like if you kill Winja (like i did) you can refind it at the heavenly greens cemetary.
