  • i'm gonna buy one next month!.i'm excited. i currently have px100-II and they're really great.but as reviews said, mine would sound like tin cans compared to these.also tried the 408 and they're also great.can't wait to buy my 448s next month

  • @addykz Good job! You will love them!!

  • @addykz WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Me too :D

  • will it work on blackberry 9530?

  • @sr4ify It will play music on any device with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, which is on basically every mobile phone out there at the moment. Some mobiles will have more power for music and will be better quality eg- iphones, but most mobiles will power the headphones very well =]

  • please stop saying "ehmm" all the time! it sucks.

  • I just got mine today, and I absolutely LOVE THEM

  • @Kuya1991 Great! I swear these are the best headphones ever for their price... they have amazing quality and are not too expensive either! Hope you treasure them forever!

  • as soon as i hear the reviewer has a british voice, im like, "this video must be legit'

  • @zworks0 Ha, thats funny =] There is something about the British accent that makes it sound like they know what they're talking about =]

  • what's the best itunes eq setting for these headphones?

  • @theappler321 Honestly I don't know do you mean equalizer settings?, I generally play them through my Hi-Fi which I change the settings depending on types of song, e.g-classical/rock/pop etc... But I have no idea, i assumed you use different settings for different types of music... =[

  • They are very good, but there are some sennheiser headphones with more bass, try looking for others like the 555 or other ones in the 500 range =]

  • how well do these work for dubstep??

  • I got them man. Thanks for ur help

  • Listening to this review with these headphones :) they are excellent! very clear even with a high bass, really comfortable, well built and actually quite stylish ;) these beat my Skullcandy's and as those will be missed, these just can't be beat x)

  • Comment removed

  • They've now gone up to £90, which is a ridiculous price to pay, there ok, but nothing special. Creative Auvana Live and Koss Porta Pro are much better and way cheaper. You also need an amp for the 448s because of it's high impedance .

  • Hey nice unboxing.

I'm thinking of buying some of this I listen to rock screamo type of music and are these really good for it?

  • @miguelangel408 I love them for rock, and I have tried screamo, and they are very good for that, they are good at reproducing vocal music, so yes screamo is well suited to this pair of headphones =]

  • @spaghettikid1 so you said you was making another video to tell us if is still as good as it was when you bought them. Is it?

  • @xCleverlyx They do seem to have more bass because I have been using them for several months, and they have outstanding sound quality. I love them! My dad is buying himself a pair now. Seriously, you would be silly buying anything but these, be sure to click the link in the description, it really helps me out if you do! =]

  • @spaghettikid1 dude u rock. U even looked it up for me. Ur one cool dude. And ya i've been looking at them so i think i'll choose the 448's just because i listen more on the go so the shure's wouldn't be practical. Are the hd448's vocals and instrumentals really good?

  • @vtisbest I always try and e as helpful as possible =] Subscribe if you like or suggest videos or reviews if you want =] The 448's are very good for vocals and instrumentals, the music they are not as good at is dubstep and similar music types, anything with rock, vocals, acoustic, classical or speech in is perfect for this pair of headphones =]

  • @spaghettikid1 do does headphones wire, are detachable?? please answer back

  • @xCleverlyx no, the headphone wire isn't detachable.

  • Being as much of an audiophile as a kid can be, i want to know whether to get these or the shure srh440. Which is better in terms of sound?

  • @vtisbest Well I just looked at some reviews of them, and comparisons between them, just google the two names... but I believe Sennheiser have been in the sound business for a long time and nearly all of their headphones are excellent quality. If it is acoustic/rock that you listen to then the hd448's will be best as they are made for that type, the Shures are studio monitoring headphones so wouldn't be ideal for casual listening. Try finding somewhere you can try them.

  • yo so clumsy

  • So you think these are better than Beats? please respond

  • @teheetoho I havent tried any beats, but these are very good headphones, which should be on par with Beats headphones, and in my opinion, is it really worth spending £300 on headphones which are very simmilar in performance to these? which are a sixth of the price??

  • How are they for movies

  • @paulgregs2006 They are very good at producing voices and acoustics, and have lots of bass, but not too much that it is off balances the mid tones, basically they are good for movies, as they make speech very clear and natural sounding =]

  • I'd pay 10 bucks more for these than the 428 cuz 428 got a 7ft cable ONLY

  • Umm for us Americans.. What is a "Bush"??

  • @m0tls1 Bush... um a hedge, shrub... basically the postman couldnt post it because noone was in our house so they left it hidden out the front of my house in a hedge... =]

  • The sound in these is slightly and i mean slightly better, plus these have better padding, so are a bit more comfortable. But the main difference is the look, some people will prefer the looks of the 428's over these, or vice versa. I went for these because they are what I see as the best quality for the money =] Also the 448's come with an extention cable and storage bag, which the 428's dont (not sure about 438's). Hope this helped, dont forget to check out my channel, and subscribe!! Cheers!!

  • what is the difference from these to the 428sand the 438s??? Im really confused and torn :/

  • @NCorrigan2014 HD 428 - Frequency response (headphones) 18 - 22000 Hz Cable length 3 m

Impedance 32 Ω Sound pressure level (SPL) 110 dB (1kHz/1Vrms) THD, total harmonic

  • I wish the postman would put things in my bush :(

  • so you all seem to think these are better than beats?

they're $55 on ebay daily deals so i'm wondering... i own a lot of beats

  • @EmceeGeek I just went searching the internet for the technical specs of various beats headphones, and they do not exist, not even on their own website. A page which claimed it had the tech specs only statements with no figures. "Frequency Response: MicroStrand conductors to extend frequency response" This seems like they don't want to let people know them because they probably are exactly the same if not worse than headphones such as these... These are built for sound, not pose value =]

  • @spaghettikid1 i think i might give them a try since i like over the ear headphones. can't beat that price... the sennheiser i was introduced to before were way more expensive, which is ok too. long as sound is clear, loud and crisp. base means everything to me.

  • Comment removed

  • Just picked up mine for $57 on amazon, exited to get them :)

  • Just broke my wesc oboes :'( Seriously considering these

  • @Thebloke17 Well try to shop around as the price varies lots with these headphones, I bought them for £50 UK but they were on sale at £112 UK at Currys.... But if you can find somewhere in the £40-60 range then these should be your next buy... They are seriously good for the money... amazing premium sound and comfort for such a low price if you shop around. I HIGHLY recommend these... i can assure you that they will out-perform your expectations! =]

  • i'm getting these soon!

  • Hi, i bought a hd448 from eBay at 70$. they arrived today. When I tried them, I really did feel they were high quality. I'm not much of an expert, but I didn't fin so much difference with the apple white headphones. They don't isolate much exterior sound either, I can hear external sound as conversations. Is there a way of identifying if the headphones are fake?

  • @feogna Well, were they new- with real packaging, or second-hand?, if they came with the packaging they should be legitimate ones. If second hand they might be fake, you could email sennheiser asking if there is a way to test if they are legitimate; there maybe a code or number hidden somewhere which they could verify. Or perhaps the audio source is not powerful enough, I find that my pair of 448's block out most noise at most volumes. Maybe you could turn up the volume, so it blocks the noise?

  • 0.29 I've just received them today in my bush, that sounds so funny to a sick-minded person like me ;)

  • @BeanzVideos Well its good that my videos are entertaining as well as infomative =P

  • Beats are total crap for the price you pay for them. You can get headphones with much greater sound and build quality (such as these) for much cheaper.

  • @HHSbass4 Couldn't agree more, these are built mainly with sound quality in mind, then looks and style. In Beats it is the other way round, they are just a fashion icon to look 'cool'. These headphones will easily out-perform the audio of any Beats headphones, for a fraction of the price =]

  • @HHSbass4 Expensive plastic By Dre

  • @anshiman

if you have a studio and money I bet I bet I bet you buy beats detox ....

    i ain`t got a big budget so i got this pair :D ... and I `m proud of it

  • @12345678uygfcxdrtghn Then you are lucky you did that. These will be amazing better then beats. Beats are way overpriced

  • @HHSbass4

I love how you think your insignificant little opinion somehow rivals the word of "god."

"If I say it is so, then so it must be!"

Oh, and nice list of headphones, moron...

  • @ItsFineWithMe Where in my comment did I pretend to have an all-knowing opinion? I simply expressed that Beats are overpriced and that you can get better headphones (such as the ones in this video) for a lower price. You want a list? Well, I know that I'm about to get a pair of Sennheiser HD 558s for about $150, and I'm willing to bet that they are overall MUCH better quality than ANY of the Beats models. Really anything from Sennheiser or AKG would blow beats out of the water.

  • @ItsFineWithMe I bet you think Skull Candy makes high quality headphones, too.

  • @HHSbass4

I bet you're an unaccomplished, socially inept nerd who's immensely insecure. I know for a fact though that you're highly unintelligent, as you seem to think knowing about headphones is something worth bragging about, and somehow rivals inventing, or discovering great things. Well, little people with simple minds tend to boast about very insignificant things.

  • @ItsFineWithMe You obviously think you know a lot about headphones too, otherwise, you wouldn't be arguing with me. I'm just trying to say that you can get better headphones for a better price (which is true, by the way). Also, don't put words in my mouth. I never said "I have some knowledge of who makes good headphones, therefore, I am better than the inventors that come up with our technologies." I am in no way bragging about my knowledge of headphones. I'm simply stating my opinion on Beats.

  • Sennheiser headphones are known for cable replacement, is this model replaceable?

  • @hjchin The cable is permanently attached, so unless you somehow removed the plastic case, and unsoldered it then it cannot be removed. I think that is what you meant =]

  • whats the diff from thees and the 428s

  • @TheBigdev23 The styling mainly, but technically these should have slightly better quality sound and more bass etc... although only a real audiophile could tell the difference. But these look a bit nicer I think, and are only a little bit more.... so you are paying for more sound and more style with the 448's rather than 428's =]

  • @spaghettikid1 ok thanks for the help

  • @spaghettikid1 whats better the 428s or the pro 280 trying to pick but not sure what sounds better and there kind of the same price

  • @TheBigdev23 I have neither so I cannot compare them from my personal experience, look at the specs on the website, then you might be able to find out which one is technically best, of just go with which one feels right, there will probably be very little noticable difference except look and feel =] Hope this helped =]

  • How's the leaking with these headphones?.What i mean is that if i'm sitting in a quiet room with other people can they hear the music as well.?

  • @MadsNaldal7651 If you have them on a normal volume, so not too loud, they will probably know you are listening to music, through the slight sound leaking, but not too much, on a very high volume however you will be able to hear quite easily the music that is being played. They must work quite effectively as when you play the music it is much quieter to other people when they are seated on your ears than when round your neck for example, but the sound leak isn't much of a problem for these =]

  • better than beats?

  • @WyattTwinkle The stats are simmilar, very little difference, but these are a fraction of the price. Beats are like the ipods of headphones, they look good and stylish, but really do the same as any other mp3 player, but for twice the price or more. =] Thats what i think anyway, but i have never listened to beats.. so i cant compare them through personal experience, sorry =[

  • do these affect glasses? headphones in the past have pushed my glasses toward my ear and it start to hurt after about 45 minutes of use.

  • @yopeople70 Well i dont wear glasses, so I have no personal judgement on this, I just scrawled some websites and one said they are not brilliant for people with glasses, earings or hats. So from that I would assume they would start to hurt. However compared to some other over ear headphones these feel like they are not pushing as much on my ears when i wear them, If you can try to find a shop which lets you try them on, or find someone who will lend you a pair for a few days =] Hope this helped!

  • Hello, I have just bought these headphones today, and I noticed that there are small holes, evenly spaced out all along the inside of both of the earpads. I can actually see some of the silver foamy stuffing poking through. Could you please tell me if this is a normal part of the design? Thanks!

  • @Dandelionblowaway My headphones do not have these holes in the earpads. So i would assume they are faulty, and if there is some foam poking through then that sounds wrong. You should email Sennheiser with a photography of the holes explaining them, and possibly include a picture of the receipt. They will most likely replace them or repair them =] Hope this helps!

  • @spaghettikid1

    Thanks man, I'll contact them.

  • @Dandelionblowaway Did it get sorted out??

  • I just got these 2 weeks ago... LOVE EM

  • Have you noticed everybody who does reviews always does it on their bed? Thumbs up if you agree!

  • @4TheBeatz Agree with what? I have noticed but what is there to agree with?

  • Good decision =] how do they compare to anything you have used/tried before??

  • Just got these today! They sound awesome! :D

  • Is the cord detachable?

  • @ericsaywhaat Unfortunately.... No, the cord is attached at the headphone end, but only connects to one side of the headphones, there isn't any splitting of cables which is quite nice =] It has a rubber grommet which holds the cable in place on the headphones and doesn't allow for it to be tied up very easily =[ But unless you specifically want headphones with a detachable cable then I wouldn't hold it against this pair! They are superb!

  • I have not used the px-100-ii, so i cannot compare them =[ The bass on these is very good, there are some sennheisers with more bass but that comes at a much higher price, I would go with these, as they are only very slightly worse than the high end sennheisers, but cost a tiny fraction of the cost. They are a very good choice of headphones..!

  • i have px 100-ii..how do these cans compare to that?.i've been planning to buy these for some time but im a bit worried that the bass won't be sufficient..

  • Do they leak a lot of sound?

  • @siddharthlaha Yeah, but not too much that people would complain, at medium levels they are hardly noticable but when turned up high or full you can hear them leaking. This is all when you or someone has them on, however if you take them off you can almost use them as speakers =]

  • Hey, thanks for the awesome review and unboxing. I'm also planning to get either these Sennheiser 448s or the Pioneer HDJ 500s. So far the Pioneer is the more expensive one and I really like its style (and it has a detachable cable) but the Sennheiser 448s look a lot more durable and more comfortable than the Pioneers. Also, I've seen the Pioneers up close and they seem pretty well built, but my friend had his pair of Sennheisers for over 2 years and still works

  • how do these sound with an ipod? do you feel like you need a headphone amp for the sound to be adequate or is it good enough without?

  • @Xelt4 I have used them with an iphone and they do not need an amplifier, unless however you want to use them as speakers instead of headphones.... =]

  • @spaghettikid1 I did some research and found that apparently one person needs an amp to power these headphones through an iPod. I will mostly be using them for my iPod/Phone so I'm worried if they'll be loud enough. But at least you said they work with the iPhone, all i want to know is how loud can you get these to when plugged into the iPhone? (like, is its maximum volume unbearable?) please reply, I might buy these soon hehe also please reply on my other comment :D thanks

  • @405thcenterside It really depends on what you like, I enjoy loud music, and the sound is louder than I need when turned up full on an iPhone, you can not hear anything but the music. I usually play it at 2/3 volume on an iPhone, they are more than enough for me. I have no idea of a comparison to pioneer headphones as I have never used them. I really think that these are the perfect headphones, as they have plenty of volume, superb sound, look amazing, and the price is good =]

  • @spaghettikid1 That's all I needed to hear! I'm getting mine this weekend! Thank you so much! :D Well, I'll see if I can test out both the Pioneers and the Sennheisers before I buy, but in any case I can't test them out, I'll be going with the Senns. Thanks again! :D

  • are they noise isolating?

  • @MyLifeIsFuck3dUp They do not have any complicated technology which picks up external sounds and cancels them. It purely blocks out sound as it is closed back and has thick padding which blocks out noise. It does however work fantastically well, I compared them with some £200 headphones which had a microphone that cancels noise and found they were exactly the same as this pair. So i would go for these, best quality and best price =]

  • @spaghettikid1 thanks man

  • @spaghettikid1: Heii thanks for the quick reply.. I really looking for the Headphone which suite to be used for Movies, Music, and my PS3. last question, coz I often travelling.. is it trues that this HD 448 can block noise from noisy environment such as plane engine when Im on the plane. well i know its not as perfect as PXC 250 series, but at least it can block and minimize noisy plane engine when i use it on the plane.... please need ur honest answer. Thanks a lot dude..

  • @marioswoosh I have walked through a construction site with circulars saws and big hammer drills, and I could still hear the music clearly. They are closed back, so block out most noise. At normal volume you can just hear people if they talk to you, but turned up a bit more, you cant hear anyone around you. I haven't used them on planes but, you would still be able to hear the music very clearly and it would block the noises of engines around you except thelow bass, which no headphones can block

  • @spaghettikid1 : Ok Thanks a lot for your advice dude... actually i was considering to pay more for PC 330, but after i got your suggestion, seems im gonna take this HD 448 for real... aight.. thanks dude.. peace out..

  • Can I use this Headphone for watching Movie..? is it good to use it..? and how bout for gaming...? is it good enough.. ? anyway, thanks for the review...

  • @marioswoosh Firstly the headphones come with an extension cable so it can reach a TV from the sofa. Secondly, these headphones are good for acoustic music and vocals, so they should be very good for movies. The bass response is awesome, so for films with high bass (Transformers... etc..) they would be very well suited. Gaming is good, I use it with PS3 and it provides really realistic surround sound, so you can hear where sounds are coming from, which helps as you can locate people moving =]

  • @spaghettikid1 : Heii thanks for the quick reply.. • @spaghettikid1 I agree, I had these for my birthday in July and they're just brilliant, love them! I'm curious to see how they'd compare with open headphones - these are closed aren't they.

    Cheers for the great review!

  • Thanks, didn't have time for the whole vid -- one question - how is the bass? Like for hip hip? (Chronic 2001 type music)

  • @dbmarquand Well the bass is the best I have heard in any headphones, there are some Sennheiser headphones which give even more bass, but this comes at a greater cost. But compared to any headphones I have ever heard the bass is superb. I find them perfect for drum & bass, dubstep, hip hop, etc... AND they dont empty your wallet like some of the other headphones, but perform just as well =] Hope this helps!

  • Sound is very good but i hate the cheap flimsy plastic design, pass on these headphones.

  • @STARSHIPUFO I know what you mean, but they are actually quite solid, the materials could be better, but they are not flimsy as such, just made from cheap materials. For the price they are well worth it, the sound quality is spectacular! =]

  • @STARSHIPUFO No cheap plastic here. Got them yesterday, already dropped them twice, been playin with them a lot, testing and stuff.
