But if you received Jesus Christ by faith (Romans 10:9-10), believing the gospel that he died for our sins and rose again, (not the thoughtless eating of wafers), THEN you have eternal life.
So be mindful of (and join!) the real body (1 Cor 12:14), the body of saved believers in Jesus Christ, and not mere wafers or religious institutions.
Excellent video, you put us right in the past with great history and practices of the day, that really helps show a deeper understanding of the scripture - I enjoyed it Thanks Fr Jeff.
The idea of being part of the body of Christ might be heart warming rhetoric but it leaves the door open to denying faults as in how can the body of Christ be faulty ? We can be humble followers of Christ. That should be enough. Good video, thanks.
