Help The Animal Shelter 5: Dog Diarrhea

I gave my Husky /German Shepherd cephalexin for a very small bite on his paw that would not fully heal he was in perfect health otherwise. I gave him the Cephalexin dose for a week and stopped the dose completely ,1 day after, he began to have diarrhea uncontrolled , that was 1 year and 5 months ago , he has NEVER had a normal movement since ,it is uncontollable and unsanitary but I am trying to keep up the care , I would like to know about Cephalexin , Did IT cause this did my Vet ruin my dog?

wht about for a 8 month pup? can I still use that medication, Ive been doing the rice thing but is it ok to give her that medication or what would you recommend?

Great basic tips, however Loperamide (imodium) shouldn't be used on dogs with risks of MDR1 mutation: colleys, shetlands, etc...Talk to your vet about it before using the drug.
