that minigame at 5.12 got to be one of the best minigames of all time, so original and funny. first it seams really hard but after a while it becomes a piece of cake.

I'm sorry, but if you couldn't figure out how to do the sheep stage or the gem-catching pot stage, that's just your own fault. It's kind of sad really. I was able to figure it out on my first try, and I was 5.

In order to appreciate something like Croc, you would have had to be about 10 when you first play it. That is not to say that the game doesn't have weak points. Camera and difficulty come to mind. The latter one really needed to be pointed out, especially after 1 and half worlds. Yeah, the bosses aren't that great but do not tell me that you didn't have a feeling of accomplishment. Do not mind even responding to trolls. Having an honest opinion is better than agreeing with everyone.

The controls are great!!! What the hell are you talking about. This game had better controls than fucking Mario 64.... I don't use the analog stick when playing. I don't know how you can play with it. It's harder..... This game got good reviews too, so idk what you're talking about.

After watching this review, I can tell that you are just bad at this game lol. I can beat this game without dying once..... Play more Platformers please. That way you can understand they're logic.

i loved sidestep when i played the game. it was really helpful when i needed to be cautious on edges. but yes, croc's movements are pretty slow. the biggest flaw was not being able to control the camera at all, but the 180 degree flip helped. the controls take getting used to but I actually thought it was okay. I played it on the Sega Saturn but I can't imagine it being too much different. Pretty interesting tho that you can use analog with Dualoshock 2.

really? I don't remember that being the case. I know you can rotate Croc, which makes the camera move, but that's not necessarily controlling the camera.

but even if it's true that you can control the camera, I do remember that in claustrophobic areas, the camera is fixed in one place. This was true for Croc 2 as well.

Crash Bandicoot was from Naughty Dog(not Sony) and again, Croc was from Argonaut Software, all Fox Interactive did was publish it. BTW i actually didn't mind the controls being a bit off and that on 0:22 is a climable wall (not a ladder).

P.S.: Pac-Land on NES has WAY worse controls than this.

I used to have Croc. I have to say, I liked playing it but you do have very good points you've made in your review. It always was hard to control Croc. I still liked Spyro and Crash Bandicoot much better.

I'm sorry but I disagree with you. The PC version of Croc was a pretty fun game with better controls. Croc isn't the easiest game (Camera can be unconvenient on the PC too) but I was able to beat it at the age of five. The only reason it isn't as good as it is on the computer, is the controls. Anyways, I'd just like to say that a lot of the people who like Croc were kids when they played it. Kids don't need death animations, tough and variated boss battles, and most of the stuff you named.:D
