I think that Jon Snow is Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark's son because Jon Snow is talked about being "born" at The Tower of Joy where Rhaegar and Lyanna fled in love, and Eddard and Howland fought the three Kingsguard and survived and Lyanna's last words to Eddard were "Promis me Ned," probably to raise Jon and not say that he is Rhaegar's son! I can't imagine Eddard Stark ever having an affair, not to mention everyone says that Jon looks like a STark and Arya looks like Lyanna .Theories?

He kidnapped her. On what little we know of Rhaegar i do not think he raped Lyanna. I think she had a affair with him willingly. She may not of even loved Robert i'm starting to think she was going to marrying him out of duty. I also think that Jon is her and Rhaegars son.

To keep to himself that Jon is her and Rhaegar son because she knew that Robert would kill Jon if he find out...That's why Ned was so sad before he died because he didn't explain Jon his true heritage and he was degraded all his life as bastard to keep him safe...

well for one he was born on the same day as the tragedy at summerhall. he also liked to visit there often as it was his birth place.

there are also quotes from the books that say rhaegar's predecessors experimented on making a dragon and one of them even killed himself drinking wilfire.
