No abuse there. I actually ran into that bear at a bar after the performance. He was there with a couple other bears and a tiger. He said the real abuse was at his last job where he worked 60 hours a week on a factory line with no health-care benefits for him or his family. Now, with the wonderful health plan offered through his current employer, he doesn't have to worry about losing his house because he can't afford to go to the doctor until it is a real emergency.
