First season was the best. I think this was only second season, so if FAme was going to pot at this point, it was too early. The show changed networks in the middle of its run if I remember. I don't think it got great ratings numbers, but it was so huge in Europe and had such a loyal fan base. I wonder if they'll release any other seasons on DVD? I hope so.
I used to be an after school teacher, and I taught my kids a baton routine to it! It even had a little drama before the music actually started. They love it! They used to beg to practice it!
Yes, that was Malcolm Jamal Warner. And I did notice Lori Singer off screen when the girls did the cartwheels. She always looks kind of awkward to me.
That's what normally happens when the "original cast" leaves a show.
I remember thinking it inevitable during Season 1. The show is based on "High School" which means, each season (a new school year) they have to "change (add/subtract from)" the Cast a little. But I was hoping the at least kept the same "Songwriters." Bummer.

Did anyone else notice a young Malcom-Jamal Warner at 2 min 9 secs?

Is it just me or was Lori Singer conveniently off screen when the other girls did the cartwheels?

I think by this point this once great series was seriously going to hell.
