Anyone know who the Senior DI is who is the master of abuse? The DI that wants the training out of the recruits ass? Watching this film, I find myself gravitating to his parts because he is always banging on his recruits (reminds me of my Senior). I have been in for 7 years and in that time I have learned a lot of good...and bad things lol But I know when I get out I will keep in touch with all my friends from different parts of the Nation. Bootcamp is like ninja training don't get caught or you will get slayed!!!
You know a real Marine just ask him how boot camp was and you will have a full day converstion...ever better when you are drunk sharing stories with other Marines...Most people miss it when they get out but im not going to make that mistake i know one day this uniform will come off but untill then im taking full advantage...Sgt so far is an awsome rank to have.

@davahn122 It's not fun, trust me. I never was a Marine, but I served 6 years in the Army and it's just as tough too. The drill sergeants right up to your face all the time...It isn't fun until the last week, right before graduation then it gets easier.

This is a great documentary. Forgive me for not giving proper respect, but the one DI you hear in the beginning was the coolest one IMO. I have yet to search for some of these guys on Facebook lol.

@samcginty The military definently is not for everyone. You have to really want to be there. For me, it was never an option because of a medical condition I have. And my life long best friend wanted to be in the Marines more than anything. But he had a learning disability and despite multiple tries could never pass the Vocational Aptitude Battery test. And I guarantee there are a lot of people who feel the same way you do
this brings back so much memories! I was Kilo Company 2000 and did my time till 2004 with FSSG TSB 3533. Good luck to all those joining...it'll be something you'll remember for the rest of your life! I would recommend going to school first (seeing if you like it), and join an ROTC unit. Its one thing to say you want to join, its another to live it.
