I just thought of something.

Suppose Armageddon still happens and all the warriors of the past are brought back, that would mean the Elder Gods would have to allow Kahn to fight. So let's say Kahn wins the second version of Armageddon. Because Kahn was sentenced by the Elder Gods, he represents the Elder Gods unknowingly to Kahn. So when Kahn thinks he'll conquer the realms, the Elder Gods will steal the prize from Kahn.

Quan Chi is a genius!!!! He literally gave Raiden a solution thus so his lord Shinnok can rule instead of Shao Kahn and Raiden thought he did it on accident. Quan Chi is the real villian behind all this.(Shinnok appears in the ending)

Ok so basically in the end of MK3, liu kang beat Shao Kahn before he could merge the realms which allows kahn to revive once again and bring Armageddon which allows him to win. However by letting Kahn merge the realms would bring out the elder gods (judgment) to kill him once and for all because he didn't play the rules of Mortal Kombat correctly.

Thumbs up if this is correct!

However I don't see the whole point of cyber sub zero...

You see, because Raiden interfered with the lin kuei when they were about to capture Smoke(which in the original timeline, he was captured). When they go to the arena Sub Zero is there and the lin kuei's other team went after him also, but since Smoke was not taken this time around, Sub Zero was caught by surprise and taken instead.

@Johnnyboybravo while trying to avoid the expected future, Raiden saves Smoke, which should be the one changed into a cyborg. By doing so Raiden would change the course of time. But, in Smoke's place, Subzero was cyborgd, and therefore, the future sayed the same.

@Johnnyboybravo You don't get WHY he became Cyber, It was because it was the cost of letting Smoke stay human, In time travel rules, a person can change what they do but at the same time effect someone else in the same way.

@Johnnyboybravo I dono why you don't understand the "point" of cyber subzero. Normally it was smoke who was captured and turned cyborge, Then subzero found out and grouped with raiden. This time around he foresaw what happened to smoke and saved him. Since raiden wasn't where he was originally suppose to be to confront subzero, He went off on his own in his quest for vengence. And since no one was with him, Nothing was stopping the lin kuai from capturing him.

If the story had something doing where smoke and liu kang battled letting kahn merge realms..that would make more sense because without smoke liu kang would of fought and beat kahn...something along those lines... but to me it seem pointless because it didn't matter what happen with smoke or sub zero.

Since raiden could foresee the future now he went and saved smoke, But since he didn't meet up with subzero because he went to save smoke he fell pray to the cyber initiative. Smoke doesn't need a special purpose because he survived, Hes just proof that raiden was able to alter the timeline and save him and get him on their side instead of him going villain via programming.

@Johnnyboybravo That's probably true, the only problem now is that ((SPOLIER ALERT)) if Quan Chi's ending if Canon, and Shao Kahn is resurrected as Quan Chi's enforcer, then it will be Quan Chi who would bring Armageddon.

he avoided smoke to become a cyborg, so sub zero got captured in smoke's place.

@Johnnyboybravo Ok I pretty much came up that Raiden thought that by saving smoke it would some how fix the problem of Armageddon however he realized at the end that it wasn't the issue.

However by having this happen it made cryax unease about the Lin Que and sector.

so pretty much this help cryax better himself.

but had nothing to do with the fixing of Armageddon.

Pointless in the eyes of Raiden and many but not for cryax for his future.

@Johnnyboybravo It is a by-product of Raiden changing time. Smoke was originally to be robotic but they changed it to sub zero.
