I found some stuff on surveillance, oblivious to the information collected about us... there is a study being conducted about exactly how knows what should be interesting, if very late. I don't know about elites and central banks specifically there is too much a person would gain by exposing it, so I doubt large conspiracies. I plan to talk more in the next vlog tomorrow :-)
Very nice. I was looking for a single picture to convey this scale of time that the individual inhabits...very very small by absolute standards. Yet in terms of the impact one individual can have today, all out of proportion to individual lives through millions of years.
The best I have seen is the drop of water in a pond idea, the ripples having lasting effect... My kids would stay at a lake's shore finding and throwing rocks in for hours- not sure why- cause and effect? fluid dynamics? haha.
Your sincerity is always inspiring to me! As tempting as it is to despair and become cynical about the future, your videos nudge me toward believing in a positive future that includes great minds arriving at inspired solutions sustaining everyone indefinitely.
I think it's easier to be optimistic if we identify the problems (all problems!) make a plan to solve those problems, then set out to personally execute that plan. On the other hand, I think trends of exponentially increasing standards of living, for hundreds, and millions of years, bode well for the future...but that doesn't mean there won't be some more darkness before the dawn. But it's nearly dawn!
This is your best yet. I know you go to a lot of work to create your videos but I must say on this one you showed a creative spark of genius. Hope all is good with you.
Great vlog - The million years recap is sobering, as is the fact that the bottom line battle will always be about finding enough food and drinkable water. Yes, communication is priceless.
Let's just hope that as time progresses that the things we choose to communicate will be somewhat more mature. BTW you look great; I hope all continues to go well with the pregnancy.
I don't think it will mature but seperate, there will be this and that- mature will be choosing. I am not certain what mature is, I know many adults who are kids at heart. But for certain we have a responsibility to parent those who are hateful, to school them in lovingkindness...
The calendar analogy was great. Really puts things into perspective. Good video. I like how most of your videos make me think about things.
BTW: Spore's official release date is September 7th. The Calendar bit made me think of it, since you start as a single celled animal and go eventually into space.
