Interesting. I've always thought people who dye their hair another color do it to be noticed. Whether the hair is red, purple, orange or blonde. It's not about being white. It's about being different. They ARE being themselves when they say.. by shaving their hair, or straightening it or cutting it into a mohawk. Why is it because everyone thinks we are trying to be "white." I can see people had that mindset years ago but people, please. Don't judge what you don't know about.

I am on my natural journey after damage and transition I cut it to about 3inches after really bad damage to start a fresh 31.12.11 after my transition now I have six inches of thick healthy hair and I cold condition and oil treat :) so happy my hair is coming back to what i was born with and i am being patient with the curl pattern.

I am not in the states but would love to "Chaka Khan" :)

Brigid & Nefertiti were my favorites!! My gosh, the fullness of Brigid's hair was amazing and the curl pattern was is so beautiful. Nefertiti looked like a totally different woman. Those twists were sexy & wonderfully done.
