My understanding is that the original score was written by Mozart who seemingly gave it two names "Lux Aeterna" and "Summer Overture." Clint Mansell composed this song (the piece in the video) based on Mozart's piece for the soundtrack to Requiem for a Dream. He titled it "Lux Aeterna," but on the RfaD soundtrack CD they (perhaps mistakenly) titled it "Summer Overture" instead. "Requiem for a Tower" is a remix composed for the LotR The Two Towers trailer. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

When you say "school" I assume your talking about middle school or high school? And actually it is completely true that wikipedia is not a real or reliable source. Any one can fake entries and anyone can fake references. All it takes is a couple of people agreeing on the discussion page of the article. For a class we each created a fake page about a historical event, just to illustrate that those that "cite" wikipedia, are lazy and dont know how to research.

This is the Tower version, btw. The original has no brass, no chorals, and is a few minutes shorter.

The Requiem for a Dream soundtrack was written (not stolen) by Clint Mansell. Kronos Quartet recorded it.

Mozart never wrote any pieces called or known as "Summer Overture". Mozart did write a "Requiem Mass" it's entirely different.

Summer Overture is actually a prelude to Lux Aeterna, and while it uses the same 4 notes on piano, and the same basic strings, it never "kicks in".

The brass version is Requiem for a Tower.

The Paul Oakenfold version is Æternal.
