I suppose this is pve video with pve gear which means u have more dps and less survivablity... I did 5.8k dps in pvp gear so this is not so awesome video :/
The only reason I used the non-heroic training dummy was because there were other people using the dummies and I didn't want any interference. The only difference between dummies is hit rating, which I am 4% above hit cap at the moment.
Well, I have used glyph of Life Tap and found my dps lower. When using Life Tap, you are actually taking time away from casting spells to proc the glyph. Even if you only use it when you need mana, the proc will most likely fall off depending on raid mana regen buffs. Also, there are some fights where a healer will strangle you if you use Life Tap unless absolutely necessary. We demand that our Warlocks use Mana Pots and staggered Innovates for these fights. When does glyph of LT help you here?
I agree with you there, especially since all of the Tier 10 piece have all been stripped of Spirit so Life Tap will be almost worthless now.
Also since I'm not crazy geared yet, i'm pulling just under 5k and when i tried out glyph of LT i noticed that I dropped almost to 4.2-4.5k. So I'm going to switch back.
Glyph of immolate is retarded. The extra damage you gain means nothing in a raid environment.
Instead roll Life Tap glyph, it gives 30% of your spirit as spell power for 30 seconds.
Now i know its speculation but ive used them all. People roll Chaos bolt glyph for a 2 second CD, but it shows no huge spikes on dps, and then i see people using immo glyph which makes me Face Palm.
Get rid of immo and get LT, your dps will go up quite a bit.

That's why you use rank 1 lifetap - then you aren't putting any strain on your healers, yet you still proc the glyph.

Btex is the addon that allows me to place graphic skins...It comes with defaults skins but you can also design your own or browse the net for others.
