This is not a slasher film as some claim it to be. Everything has been sort of out of wack since the end of Hellbound. Basically everything that happens in this one and Bloodline is a result of Channard killing off Pinhead in Hellbound, thus creating two seperate beings. One the ghost of Spencer, the other the pure evil form of Pinhead a.k.a. his demon side. There is an explanation for why this one is different from the first two. People who dislike it need to get over it. Look at the last 3.

I really wasn't sure what to make of this one. The narrative felt finished after Hellraiser 2, and then the series just continued on with this really fascinating character and his "other exploits". It felt like an... anthology, rather than a "series", with a logical beginning middle and end. Hmm. :|

The actor are bad, some of the FX are completely failed, the story become so fucking dumb in the end... IT'S AWESOME. I mean, I hate bloodline so much I can't watch it, but Hellraiser 3 is trying so hard to be "ultimate" despite it's inferiority, that it became awesome.
