U2 at thier best.I saw them on this tour at Elland road,Leeds,England.They started thier whole concert by coming out half way through this song which was playing inbetween acts.I think it was the Pretenders that had finished 20 miniutes before.Does anyone remember this?Would love to hear from you:)
It was my first U2-concert. It was a warm rainy day. We stand at the playground . It was fucking rainy weather and the other bands were fucking bad !!! from 3 o´clock afternoon till 9 o`clock in the evening i hate that i was there !!!!! But then !!!!! This song started to play ! The rain ends from one minute to the other ! The evening-son came out ! And Bono came to the stage and started to sing !!!! From this moment U2 shot in my heart
best part of this song is just the first few seconds when Bono BURPS!!!! yeah!!!! amazing, the thing is that Ali went on stage and gave him a bottle of Champagne, so he sips a little just before he starts singing, and guess what??? yeah!! he burps!!! LOL !!!

Can someone please tell me: How was it, back at the Joshua Tree Tour? I remember that "Stand by me" was the last song from the PA and Bono took over the song. But on the other hand, you can see at "Rattle & Hum" that the Show started with "Where the Streets have no name".(!?)
most Joshua Tree shows started with Streets. on occasion they would start with Stand By Me into Pride, and leave Streets for the beginning of the encore, usually as the last show of several in a given city. you must have been to a show with that rarer, "option-b-setlist" if you will.
