Bug is my favorite monotype, but there are monotypes with better stats out there, so it will lose. The dragon monotype will be lulz.

I think you should probably test all of these mono type teams in OU. It's not really representative if you're testing some in OU and some in NU.

I'll test them in OU if I feel the type can function with better in OU then in UU. Example in this case is that I didn't feel it Necessary to Include Infernape and Heatran in the team because I felt the team I selected would do better without them. I didn't realise that the 6 fire types I chosen were NU's until after the battle.

I just think that even if you don't choose any OUs, the type should still be tested in OU. It's not that fair if the fire type team only has to beat UUs when others have to beat OUs.

I can see where you are coming from. But the OU metagame is centralized while UU/NU is where types really shine. (No pun intended) May be the answer to this debate is possibly Mix tier battles?

It won here, so It wont be getting scrapped for the time being. It did very well in the battle, due to the fact he only had 1 fire resist and no water types (However I did have Sunny Day up for near entire battle to reduce water damage and 3/6 pokes did have SolarBeam to take care them) All in all, Charizard is win!

Yeah I agree Charizard is awesome.

I wish he was Fire/Dragon so that it rids his water weakness and x4 rock weakness because he can learn almost every dragon type attack except for Draco Meteor, Spacial Rend and Roar of Time. There may be others but I have forgot lol

I meant in terms of taking special hits. Blissey is best special wall, then chansey and in 3rd Regice
