  • This is pretty beautifully cut, Great job!

  • There is a lot to say about them but they at least know how to make an entrance.

  • Einstein: Hitler, I am your father!

  • This is how it would have locked like if the Germans won ww2 ;)

  • god nazis back in the day would shit themselves if they heard this being played behind hitler!

  • I really WANNA favorite this but am slightly afraid to.

  • So...George Lucas...fan of John Ford, Akira Kurosawa AND Nazi propaganda films. Splendid.

  • guy @ 1:07

"What the hell is supposed to be going on here?"

  • LOL

  • My Little Pony ripped star wars off, which ripped Hitler off. This means there is a direct correleation between HItler and My Little Pony.

  • @Moredread25

I came here thinking just the same thing!

  • @Moredread25 Fuhrer Celestia is best Fuhrer

  • Look at Darth Vader's helmet without the mask. Now, look at a German WWII helmet.

  • So Chewbacca got that business about his Aryan certificate straightened out? LOL

  • As a film purist, I must admit that I enjoy seen "A New Hope" in the original black and white...

  • Despite its Naziness, Triumph of the Will was seen as great, in pure filmmaking terms. There's nothing wrong with referencing it.

  • if the rebels = nazis how do you explain the wookies and fish people and assorted minorities that the rebel alliance accepts? but there is only one type of person in the empire. *hint hint*

  • Imagine how much more morally ambiguous Star Wars would have been if it had been Hitler who'd destroyed the Death Star.

  • @HeroOfTheSovietUnion, You are not imagining things. One reference to the similarity of these two scenes can be found on the last page of this article from the New York Times - "Reich Star" By CLIVE JAMES, Published: March 25, 2007. George Lucas was not alone among Hollywood types who admired Leni Riefenstahl.

  • No idea why some people are debating analogies when Lucas even stated that the Imperial Empire was based on the Nazis, this is Fact not opinion so forget Empire=Romans or Empire=Seperatists.

  • Give me the Imperial Officers of the Galactic Empire or the Field Marshal of the Third Reich anyday!!! These men knew how to rage war!!!

  • I heard the scene in Star Wars was actually inspired by Triumph of the Will. I can't find a source, though.

  • Pretty scary that this edit is so fitting. Hitler lived the movie.

  • This is funny and yet horrible at the same time

  • @magrace1 You are a thingfish with no mind and obviously in bed with the enemy of mankind, but hey, you have every right to walk around thinking yourself smart with your head squarely up your silly ass. ENJOY.

  • The Sith are the jewish banksters who corrupt and undermine all true and pure national cultures, working towards their satanic NWO.

  • @videocanone god you are a moron!

  • At the start of the film the Rebel soldiers are wearing what look like DDR army helmets. Rebels = Commie-Nazi Kraut mashup.

  • Wow,I was just thinking that could have been the climax of the German victory celebrations had they won.Of course had they won then English girls wouldn't be getting raped by Asians in London, and there wouldn't be any no go zones for white people.WHITE Children would being playing in Adolf Hitler park while their WHITE parents sip lemonade.Had the English soldiers seen the future they'd have defected on mass to the Germans to save their grand-kids from the MultiKult hell that is England today

  • Btw another nazi parallel is in revenge of the Sith. The plot of Palpatine wanting to go from chancellor to emperor roughly matches that of Hitler who was appointed chancellor and wanted to be dictator.

  • @ranebow5 Don't forget his using Mace Windu trying to kill him as a reason to declare emergency, take away right and to eliminate his opponents, like Hitler did with the Reichstag fire.

  • @dccmpbll You can also draw the parallel between Imperial Stormtroopers and Nazi Stormtroopers (Brownshirts)

  • LOL I usually don't like Nazi parodies but this fit pretty good. Thanks.

  • There's a Dark side of the force in Star Wars

  • Comment removed

  • Lucas has never denied how he was influenced by Triumph of the Will.

  • LOL a new hope? what total destruction? !! my guess is this all happened so a million subway sandwich franchizes could be built in germany!

  • So I guess this is how WW 2 would have ended if Hitler had won

  • Awesome.....Nazi history equals George Lucas Star Wars story...NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. This is crazy, Hitler invented Star Wars!!!! Storm Troopers, Holding camps from TPM, from Supreme Chancellor to The Emperor,....GENIUS, I'm sure Spielberg through in his 2 cents.

  • Nice.

It would have been cool if you added Leni Riefenstahl to the credits. XD

  • throne scene was a clever ripoff lol, big nazi banner replaced by vertical blue-glowing thing.

  • The vertical blue-glowing things are windows. :-p

  • Hitler: "Winston, I am you father!"

    Churchill: "NOOOOOOOOO!"

  • @Treblaine

    LOL

  • @Treblaine Churchill was older than him you dumbass.

  • @suicidewafflez

Get a sense of humor, you cuntrag.

  • @crusader149 Where's your fucking balls?

  • I think this video edit was just waiting to happen. Its genius!

  • I lol'd so fucking hard! nice work

  • It's too perfect.

  • The Sequel Trilogy after GL passes

STAR WARS Episode VII-The Dark Order

STAR WARS Episode VIII-Battle of the Republic

    and last but not least

STAR WARS Episode IX-Balance of the Force

  • The podrace was Episode I: "The Phantom Menace" from the prequel trilogy. "A New Hope" (Episode IV) was the first ever Star Wars movie. Also, C-3PO was in Episode I, but he just didn't have his golden shell.

  • Yes, Episode I was the fourth movie to be released, but it is a prequel. Therefore, it was labeled as Episode I.

    Prequel Trilogy (The new movies)

Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)

Episode II: Attack of The Clones (2002)

Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)

    Original Trilogy (The old movies)

Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)

Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)

I own all of the movies. If you don't believe me go look it up.

  • Don't feed the trolls, guise.

  • This is not the scene form the Triumph of The Will which is commonly linked with the ending of Star Wars, but it basically draws the same picture. That Lucas used German filing techniques such as the one in that particular scene is undeniable. Who can blame him.?The Germans revolutionize the way things were filmed.

  • funny idea^^

  • plutot, navrant !

  • Lucas has long admitted that he stole the final scene from "New Hope" from "Triumph of the Will." I'm glad to finally see someone make the connection more explicit. Hilarious! Thanks.

  • LOL Chewy =DDDDD

  • lol:)

  • HA HA HA pissing my self with laughter, Chewy shows up at 0:42!!! Keep up the good work the world needs to lighten up and chill out. Skunk and ecstacy should forced upon all politicians then there would be no wars period. !!!! lol

  • All people dealing with or manufacturing illegal narcotics should be tried, convicted and sentenced to death by crucifixion.

  • Ok here is the solution then - legalize them. Problem solved, no more crime, period.

  • Execute the dealers, execute the traffickers and execute the manufacturers. Once word gets out that drugs equal DEATH only an idiot would want to deal/traffic or manufacture them, problem would solve itself faster than Nancy Reagan could say "Just say no." Another benefit would be, the darlings who are executed would more than likely recieve darwin awards!

  • What about Alcohol & tobacco? Between them they have killed more people over the last 200years than ALL WARS COMBINED? and yet they are socially accepted and LEGAL. People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. If people are foolish enough to risk there lives taking drugs, legalize them tax them and this would reduce crime figures significantly.

  • PCP aka Angeldust real nice drug to use, causes psychotic behavior in it's user. Real good to have someone on. Ever see them when they decide to get into a fight for no reason? They'll kill 100% of the time. KILL THE DRUG DEALERS! DRUGS ARE DESTROYING THIS NATION, DEATH PENALTY FOR DRUG DEALERS!

  • Limited intellect, i notice you havent answered my question about Alcohol and Tobacco. You must be a politician

  • lol

  • LOL hahahaha Hitler....Star Wars....OMG this is the most funny video in youtube.

  • When I think about I wondered if the planet Hoth was named after Col.General Herman Hoth whose famous for trying to get the 6th army out of Stalingrad during operation "Winter Storm". Star Wars has alot of nazi references you know.

  • Notice how this is exactly how Episode IV ends. Ofcourse its ment to be. Luke Skywalker as Hither etc. Then all the Nazis as the rebels.

  • Yes, they were evil murdering scumbags bent of world domination, but you have to admit, they had style.

  • @grissom1228 quit bitching shut the fuck up! damn!

  • @grissom1228 and so did the Soviets. It just goes to show catch phrases and awsome flags don't amount to mutch

  • I saw Chewbacca,C-3PO,and R2-D2!

  • This is disturbing, but in a good way.

  • yes they were racist for unhumand beings except if they werent emperors ss

  • But if we did care...What about George Lucas's choice to even use the word "stormtrooper", which is taken directly out of the NAZI canon?

You may find many alternative resemblances etc. however George Lucas clearly intended the Glactic Empire to be an allegorical representation of the NAZI administration.

  • This is an awesomely funny video.

We dont care about what technicalities he criticizes. chsbcg needs to get laid.

  • I would say that General Grievous and his Separatists were the analogy of the National Socialists, not the Rebel Alliance. The Rebels were an analogy of NATO.

  • I would have to say the Galactic Empire is the most like Nazi Germany. The resembalence is uncanny.

  • The Republic was at war with the Separatists i.e. Democratic countries and Communists against the Nazis and Fascists. Why are the Separatists the Fascists and Nazis? Because they were made up of businessmen. Clone Wars= World War II. Empire against Rebel Alliance- Cold War. Empire was the Communist countries because they became very oppressive and the Rebel Alliance were NATO.

  • Well, the Galactic Empire and Nazi Germany has many things in common that cannot be over looked. For instance both Nazi Germany and the Galactic Empire emerged from a Republic (Weimar Republic=Old Republic), and both Hitler and Palpatine were Chancellors before gaining absolute power. Also they both were granted emergeny power, thus giving them an opportunity to better establish their military regimes. You can also compare Order 66 to The Final Solution, and the Clone Troopers to the Waffen SS.

  • But you could compare Hitler with Stalin who perverted Socialism and started the Great Purge. Grievous and Dooku were leading the Separatists; Grievous is more ruthless (Hitler) and Dooku is a bit compromising (Mussolini). Dooku gets killed before Grievous just like Mussolini then Hitler.

  • the gray uniforms vaders helmit :)

  • @chsbcg The Galactic Empire is most closely analogized to the Roman Empire. Episode 3 covers this the best, if you compare it to the rise of the Roman Caesars. The Rebels don't really have an analogy. It's just supposed to make a good story.

  • Ilaughed...

  • AWESOME, except the nazi germany part...
