20 empty bottles would give you a dollar! if you have 100 bottles or cans would give you $5. Homeless people could do this for a living..collecting those cans from streets actually helps in preserving our planet.

Hey man, you have done right with bringing this out. I remember in Oregon it was similar with the machines that give you back the deposit. Recycling is a help, but perhaps there is no real solution to so many individual containers sold out to people. Jumping several levels, people just need to get away from the individual containers idea. It's a cultural thing. You can't stop so many from freely consuing pop What happened to mixing drinks in glasses and washing out a glass? :-)
