  • google "david beetham democracy UK" and read an easy-to-understand, evidence-based paper on how rich corporations have hijacked democracy in Britain.

  • I think about 2 people in this video are native English speakers...ha ha pretty cool

  • 1:57

You spell "responsibility wrong..." How 'bout becoming responsible for your own spelling? lol jk, jk. I don't mean it, but that's what came in my head :P

  • democracy is the tyranny of the majority over individuals

  • Plato told somethink like "democracy is the government of rabble". I think it is most apposite phrase ever!!!

  • Democracy is impossible in a group of more than 6 people. Just like that. Everything else is a fairy tale and sweet delusions.

P.S. Some people are even happier without democracy. For others it's just the freedom to choose between Pepsi and Coca-Cola. Freedom of speech? We can talk any shit we desire as long as it doesn't bother the guys at the top. Anyways, nobody gives a damn for what I speak. :)))

P.P.S. I think all people are lobsters. Hey, I'm totally free to say this. :) Democracy, eh?

  • Democracy is MOB rule. Nothing more and nothing less. You wanna be ruled by a mob?

It doesn't matter what you think it is. Mute point for the informed.

  • Democracy is MOB rule. Nothing more and nothing less. You wanna be ruled by a mob?

  • @bugsz1

I used to hold the exact opinion that you have expressed; however, my opinions have changed. Indeed, Democracy can be said to be mob rule but it is in the exertion of that power that democracies can be said to be just or unjust. The majority can exert their influence to reinforce hegemony, to create totality of the status quo, or alternatively, they can exert themselves with an ethics and morality that is not limited by hierachical designs. Only through education is this possible. Peace

  • Democracy is mob rule where a 51% majority can take away the rights of a 49% minority, democracy is chaos.

  • eN tEORIA ESOE S dEMOCRACIA AUNQUE EN MUCHAS PARTES HAYA GOBIERNOS SUPUESTAMENTE DEMOCRATICOS

  • Democracy is NONE of those. Democracy is forcing the minority to submit to the will of the majority.

  • Democracy is what we all try to make of it. Sit on your sofas, do nothing but complain, yeah that'll help the greater good, but hey that's democracy. In a world where I have a choice or opportunity to do almost anything, well I'd call that democracy

  • Democracy is tyranny of the majority. I'm glad we've never had it here in America.

  • Democrcy is tyranny, the rule of the many who are swayed by the Cleaver and used for the advancement of the wicked who kbow how to Manipulate.

It is a SYstem of divisioon, strife, and oppression.

I will stay Loyal, and am true to my God abnd my Queen.

  • So much for your democracy and freedom of expression you Hippocrates there is no such a thing as democracy any where in the world look at Gantanamo bay look at the treatment of organization in UK look at Afghanistan, Pakistan, and many Iraq democracy is spreading all around the world by lies and bombs. Thank you for your genocide against Muslims.

  • And the Social Kingship of our Lord?

  • Nazi Germany was a democracy, rule by the majority.

And Socrates was voted by majority vote to drink hemlock.

Do you still want democracy? where is the freedom for the minority groups?

  • and Saddam Hussein gassed the kurds and had had rape and torture dungeons, he killed anyone he liked without democracy, what's your point? What system guarantees freedom for minorities? None. Each system of government is one which puts decision making power in someone's hands, the point is to try to find the best hands. Elite leadership is generally arbitrary and fascistic, and is illegitimate since it governs without the consent of the governed.

  • constitutions are the same as well as judiciaries. Either theyre founded democratically in some way or they are decided by elites, you can decide which is better as you like. Constitutions merely make decisions sticky, so that they don't change easily from their start.

  • Good! I like that!!

  • I have watched plenty of videos on democracy, I have yet need to understand what is democracy

  • its just a form of gorverment where the will of the majority rules and for me democracy its every where even in socialist goverments or tyrants dictators democracy comes to make its way out

  • Yes, I know exactly what you said. I was not asking for the definition of it. Then if we believe in the literal definition of democracy, then we can say that Democracy does not exist any where.

  • YEAH well its just that, why should it mean somthing else? and you should belive cuz thats exactly what happens always, see, cubans have that way of goverment cuz they are not uncomfortable enough to change it, so even if some cubans dont like to live like that the majority doesnt gives a shit same in mexico, and same in your contry, if you dont like it get envolve and tell people why they should start caring about maybe you can get a majority to think like u

  • In order to change something, you have to believe that it exists. Since I don't believe that the concept of democracy actually exists, I have nothing to change about it.

  • well thats great so u , have an opinion and people having diferent opinions its part of living in a democracy. cheers

  • You are just living in a world of disillusion. Keep dreaming

  • genial

  • Wow!!! I really like your video!! You have an interesting concept there. Good Job and good luck!!!

  • Great job!

    really cool

  • Nice job dudes! even though your accent is obviously spanish ;D

Aupa!!!
