Great video! I've always had a keen interest in all things East German - esp. the military. Too bad the Volksmarine did not have a submarine fleet like its Federal German counterpart, even though I read an article some time ago that the East Germans were indeed about to embark on their own sub design program sometime in the 1950s before it was scrapped.
