These are some of the best videos I've seen. The cooking example shown here is a perfect illustration how when one cooks out of the desire to please, it adds the ingredient of love, which results in a better meal. The result was already contained in the orginal intent!
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone be found boasting. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:8-10
“Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.” For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. (Galatians 3:24)
Natures law will change when Jesus returns we will likely have a shared conciousness. One could argue that our conciousness/spirit is not natural but supernatural. Wouldn't Natures law also change once the individual can modify his genetic code for example.
Sounds great and all but some of this just scares me. What if Utopia is just hell on earth. Perhaps this is as good as it gets and accepting that as such brings about a greater self of purpose. Fine line here between helping everyone and forcing everyone. Is it even possible to commit a selfless act?
as long as your "egoistic" actions bring a positive outcome, meaning they have a positive ripple effect, then it is altruism. it is not selfless but it still carries bestow.
meaning only that your Ego may work in a positive manner depending on your initial desires. what you desire will ultimately determen your actions. and all fullfilment of desire is selfish.
There is nothing wrong with actions that benefit the self, so long as the intention is for the benefit of All... that being others, self, and everyone - All as One.
Selfless actions may seem honorable, but to act without regard to one's own interests is to neglect one's own needs.
Rather, action should be taken in consideration not of you, me, others, or anyone in particular, but for the situation itself, and All involved.

Is it even possible to commit a selfless act?
i would have 2say that this is a great question.
and the answer is NO!
BUT-
