@Thirdgen83 dude this is one of the best Kings X songs theyve ever writte. i only dig a small hand full of songs out of everything theyve written but this is the most diverse song and the melodies are dark, the vocal harmonies are awesome, cool lyrics and it was a huge surprise when the bridge came thru with some drop A tuning. never wouldve expected that low of tuning from Kings x. all in all, this is probably their most creative and unpredictable song ive heard. why do u think it sucks?
@thefallingdream I love this song too. The whole Bulbous album is KX's most cohesive record since Dogman, at that point: totally abstract and psychedelic. It was so unique.
Love this album. King's X had slipped off my radar after Black Flag. Bought it on spec and played it to death. Heaviest bass sound on a record ever. And that includes The Prodigy...
Can anyone tell me what this song is about? I remembered wondering if it related...at all...to Doug's being molested as a child. Don't mean to be grotesque, but Doug confessed that darkness in an interview that correlated with this release. So I couldn't help but wonder.
From what I've read, the lyrics are a collection of childhood memories/phobias/fears from each member of the band.....the meaning of the song is basically "insanity"
This is my favorite song from pleae come home mr. bulbous. I actualy think it's a really good album. A shame many other King's X fans don't like it too much
great job making this video man, thanks for sharing... i remember when mr bulbous came out i listened to it twice or three times a day for two years... then i slowed down to once a day and then just few times a week... hahaha... great album...
Dude, amazing job with the video. Everything even synced up with the live performance! Phenomenal dude, and such a kick ass song to do it with! Two thumbs WAY up!!!
This is an awesome video! Thanks for sharing it. You must be good friends with the band to get such inside video. I met them once, shook their hands, and got a shirt signed. Nice guys!
At 1:18, that's just the shadow from the bass neck that you see on dUg's hand (you can pause/play/pause it in increments and see that as his hand moves).
Or did you actually mean the bandaged hand at 1:15? If so, I'm not sure who that is, but it's not dUg (you can pause/play/pause it until it's paused where you can see the face).
Anyway, King's X is one of my favorite bands. Rock on, dUg, Ty & Jerry!
that's Splat;he was so dogset on testing the electricitycircuit in Sweden that DAVE had to kick Splat out of a Kiss&neverBableToTell-situation with a electrocuted mikestand
I remember getting this, just blown away how they managed to reinvent themselves yet again; material so different from prior stuff, yet very much still the 'X signature style.
This song in particular is disturbing and creepy and fascinating. Is Doug recounting the sexual abuse he received as a child?
Great footage, great song, greatest band, and the greatest vocalist ever! I saw King's x in belgium 3 years ago, in a small club, no more than 150 persons but they have been playin 2 hours Respect.
Crime of the century? -the fact that King's X are still relatively unknown to most and have to play some of the dives and small clubs they do, but thank goodness they keep rocking. If you haven't seen these guys live, you're missing out! See them asap!!

@Thirdgen83 I thought so too at first. But then it grew on me. Now it's one of my favorites.

I love this song, it has such a dynamic vibe.
And the heavy riffing section kicks ass.

King's X are not unknown. They sell out little holes in the wall every where on their own terms. They ditched the music industry early on.
