Malfoy's redemption scene, in book 7, took place in part one of the movie series. The good thing he does is claim to not know whether or not the hamburger-faced kid brought in by DE patrols is Harry Potter. The scene is his partial redemption, because he knows full well who Hamburger is, but pretends not to because it feels wrong to him.
Then after that he goes back to being a prat. There is some stuff with Crab and Goyle, and the summoned fire monster, but even that was a bit snide.
i cried during the part whre snape gave harry that memory and the story between lily and snape made me cry aswell, it was just real love what he felt, it was so honest, I just couldnt help myself :')
i almost cried during the whole thing, longbottom's comedy helped, but it was so short! like its a line of slapstick comedy then i more depression for me XD
i cried like throughout the battle when they showed who had died and i cried when harry was talking to his parents and Sirius. My theater was amazing everyone cheered at "boom." "i'v always wanted to say that." and molly was amazing i balled when there children were going to hogwarts. The only bad part for me was the twilight preview before the movie started
my tearful moments: young snape crying to dumbledore after lily was dead :'( and when fred died. biggest WTFs: the boat house? BOAT HOUSE? whatever happened to the shrieking shack? and the final battle was a little disappointing, i think the books version was better. with molly killing bellatrix (...and voldemort screamed...) and voldemort+harry circling each other before finally dueling. and everybody just standing there, watching them. that woulda been more dramatic! biggest LOL: draco's BEARD
Omfg!! I cried at Freds familys reaction to him dying, and then like right after when you see Tonks And Lupin like almost touching hands ( Both not in the films as much as they should be ). But I was really pissed off at the tiny amount of time they were bothered about the deaths for, it wasn't drawn out long enough. Oh and the fact that you couldn't even SEE the kiss because of Rons head -.- but I like how it happend, really unexpected :L <3
I got teary when Snape was killed (i've read the books and i new his story.), when harry went into the forest and saw all the people that had died, and when you saw Fred :'(
BUT
I CRIED when Bellatrix died. I am a MASSIVE Bellatrix fan! i was laughing at Molly but crying about Bellatrix. <3
Hey wasn't Voldemort NOT suppose to feel it when they destroy the horcruxes? He felt all of them in this movie! And from the moment that George (was it George? Idr :/) and Lupin died, thats when i started crying. I was all teary eyed for the rest of the movie lolz
Me and my cousin were laughin so hard at one point. We went to the double feature which was part 1 at 9pm, part 2 at 12am. At the end of part 1 Voldemort had a face close up. My cousin leans over to me and says "He doesn't have a nose." So I lean over to him and say "On a scale from Voldemort to Nigel Thornberry, how big is your nose?" We lost it the last 5 mins of the movie. I cried from when Hermione said "I'll come with you" when Harry was leaving to die, till Malfoy mom talked to Harry.
They did the part with Harry touching Voldemort I think to symbolize that they were finally equals since Voldemort had destroyed what part of him was in Harry. They did it to show just how weak Voldemort had finally become.
I thought they ruined the entire second half of the book, personally. I did think the Gringotts escape was well done, though. It was extremely disappointing, because I thought the first part was adapted really well! Whoever edits those movies should be throttled.
I went to that movie thinking I'd cry when fred dies. As it turned out, I cried when fred died, when tonks and lupin died, during snapes memories and when harry saw the dead people he loved again. and my friend cried when voldemort died... wtf
ur friend dosent rly seem like a good fan i wish u had done the review alone. but it was still awesome! + she seems rly stoned or something and dosent rly care
I agree on absolutely everything. I wanted to cry through half of the movie and it started with Snape and his story, with everything with Lily and watching as James took the love of his life and then the scene with Hermione and Harry when he's going off to die... Ugh... Mess, and then with all of the people that had died. DX!! I'm pathetic basically haha.
There's a few things I would have liked them to keep going on, but mostly with Lupin and Tonk's son. That's never explained. It's unfortunate
They should have done more with Bellatrix. How can you have Helena Boneham Carter in a movie and give her like 5 minutes of screen time and not even that great a fight to go out with?
It was epic. My favorite part was The Story of Snape. My least favorite was Voldemort's death I kinda wish they added more into it. Also I didn't like what happened after it. Everyone was as if nothing happened. No one was sad that a lot of people died or no one was happy because they just killed Voldemort. Also I wished it was longer. And I really liked all those breakout performances. I didn't cry but I did choke up a bit somewhere in the movie. And I was a nervous wreck throughout everything.
The reasons why Harry ended up with Ginevra Weasley are beyond me and the reasons why Hermione was reduced to be a simple mary-sue throughout the film are not quite clear either. All her cleverness went down the toilet. And Harry DIDN'T break the elder wand that's utter rubbish. Now I loved the Snape part (Best part of the film IMHO). At least Neville got to be bad-ass. He was always better than ickleronniekins. And Albus Severus was simply adorable.
I think this was the best movie EVERRR!!! This was the first time i screamed and applauded in the theater. My favorite line was when she said "not my daughter you bitch". I didn't cry, but I was really sad at the end. I really want to see it AGAIN!!!! XD

I would have to say my fave parts was:
1) When Hermione was Bellatrix...
2) When Harry was looking into Snape's past and it revealing that Snape was in love with Lily
3) Before Harry went to meet his death, his family and godfather and others were standing around him
4) The end where they are all grown up and sending their kids to Hogwarts, it was so adorable...

Im 16 and ive watch all movies since the first one when i was in First Grade in movie Theather...
Im gonna sound like a troll cuz im just gonna say David Yates sucks as a Director...
I loved the first ones speacilly Prisioner of Azkaban... And i havent read all the book only 5 and 6...
But really i stoped loving the movies since 4 i mean its was good...
But Orden of Phoenix Sucked and the other one too...
Yates Redemed himself a bit but still Sucks -.-
This last one wasent that bad atleast...
weskeni20 7 months ago
@weskeni20 the new director took the childish feel out of it and put a more dark feel to it much better imo
BastianMassacre 7 months ago
@BastianMassacre That is true i would agree but He dosent aume the basics complements to direct a good movie...
Its like hes never gone to film school or something...
But like i said he redemed himself with the last one it Ended Well(:
