Not that I didn't like Zordon...but if he had the capacity to rid the universe of all evil...why the hell didn't he do that six years ago when Rita first escaped? Or ages ago since all the big bad guys were out there somewhere. Why did he wait until shit REALLY hit the fan before doing it.
I mean, I know it effectively means killing himself, but such a noble self-sacrifice would've been more befitting the character (as we see here) than all the crap they went through.

If only Disney included this in the Dino Thunder episode "Legacy of Power". They skipped the Alien Rangers arc too. Someday, Saban will expand on that in the future...
@91SRR yeah, they were kinda trying to summarize all the seasons in a short period of time. It was kinda rushed, but who can blame them? They were trying to come up with a summary of 500 episodes in 2004.

I watch the Premier of RPM and from what i saw it was just bad period.

I really like how this footage has maintained itself over the years. It looks better than the footage from MMPR. In some ways it looks modern. I guess they improved the film quality over the years.
thats because the earlier seasons used japanese stock footage from they're sentai counterparts for the fight scenes since most of the first 3 seasons were episodic (especially season 1 where most of the battle footage was from zyuranger),as the series progresseed,they started using more american filmed footage and less japanese stock footage.

@MMPRfan2012 SO true...what's strange is I watched MMPR through PRIS nonstop in the 90s but completely stopped after whatever Rangers version came next (can't remember, point proven lol). It just became corny, unrelated and unorganized. Mighty Morphin was the best hands down because they actually developed characters over the yrs instead of having all brand new members every single season. Look up ZyuRangers, that's the original Japanese version of MMPR. Pretty good but more adult-like.

Zordon's tube destruction would not have been a possible solution to the situation prior to "Shift Into Turbo, Part III", where Lerigot released him from his Time Warp. His tube from MMPR to PRT was a "Plasma Tube", similar to a Plasma TV, recieving his transmission from the Time Warp. This season it was an "Energy Tube", containing his pure essence, with the intent of Dark Specter draining him of his life force. With DS dead, the tube is pure Zordon souce tv(dot)com
I get why the writers made Zordon's energy beam turn the main villains good. It's an American kids show, there are no consequences for anything evil unless you aren't human like, fine.
But why destroy Eciptor? He was without a doubt, the most noble villain in the first six seasons.
when i was 9 (12 years ago), i was very disappointed that power rangers franchise continued. After zordon was gone, all the evil including zedd, rita, and other villans were gone
I really wish power rangers would become a little mature. Not like over the top killing or anything, but story-lines that matter truly and real emotion. Loved PR back in the day!
I've just came up with another theory for why the Mighty Morphin and Turbo powers were used in "Forever Red" and "Once A Ranger". What if the Z wave RESTORED the powers. (Sure, there's that thing with Justin's powers from Storm Blaster but still) Also, Adam's morpher was in one piece during Once A Ranger. That's a possibility.
If you ask me this was a great way to end the origional rangers saga, Glad Rita & Zed got to live, yeah their depowered...but the live....I like to think afterwords Zed became a buisness mougel and lived in the lap of luxery along with rita, rofl.
The only two villains not to be killed by Zordon's energy wave are Dark Spector and Darkonda as they destroyed each other before Andros destroy Zordon.
@supermanakasean There's a scene in season 3 which implies he only looked like he did because he tried to get the Zeo Crystal, which repels evil. So it seems he was originally a human alien, much like Andros, Karone, and Lost Galaxy's Maya.

turbo is consider the worst of the Zordon Era, maybe even worst of the Pre Disney era, but it is no where near considered the worst of the franchise, whatever idiot told you it was should be slapped.

@dsjj251 idk if there was a way to survey every ranger fan and see what they think hells yeah id take it. tbh i found IS-TF better then turbo cause they had more intresting story lines. turbo really only focused on two things. the passing of the ranger powers, and the millennium message.

and yea, Turbo didnt have any under lying stories, just the 2 main ones.

@RatedViciousBlaise No, I don't. It's one of the worst seasons in the shows history. Embarrassing and weak villains, poor acting even by PR standards, dull plot full of holes, and a CGI hamster. The season was a mess and it was dull. Try RPM. It's the best season so far.

Zordon's tube destruction would not have been a possible solution to the situation prior to "Shift Into Turbo, Part III", where Lerigot released him from his Time Warp. His tube from MMPR to PRT was a "Plasma Tube", similar to a Plasma TV, recieving his transmission from the Time Warp. This season it was an "Energy Tube", containing his pure essence, with the intent of Dark Specter draining him of his life force. With DS dead, the tube is pure Zordon souce tv(dot)com

I get why the writers made Zordon's energy beam turn the main villains good. It's an American kids show, there are no consequences for anything evil unless you aren't human like, fine.
But why destroy Eciptor? He was without a doubt, the most noble villain in the first six seasons.

when i was 9 (12 years ago), i was very disappointed that power rangers franchise continued. After zordon was gone, all the evil including zedd, rita, and other villans were gone

I've just came up with another theory for why the Mighty Morphin and Turbo powers were used in "Forever Red" and "Once A Ranger". What if the Z wave RESTORED the powers. (Sure, there's that thing with Justin's powers from Storm Blaster but still) Also, Adam's morpher was in one piece during Once A Ranger. That's a possibility.

@supermanakasean There's a scene in season 3 which implies he only looked like he did because he tried to get the Zeo Crystal, which repels evil. So it seems he was originally a human alien, much like Andros, Karone, and Lost Galaxy's Maya.
