  • cruzy!!!!!!!

  • Isnt normality based uppon a judgement off yourself and others within the comunity or soceity you live in?

Normality is relative not to be mistaken by illnes or deformities wether its mental or physically.

In the mayan history it would be perfectly normal to marry your sister nock her upp to keep the bloodline pure now that would look abnormal to us

Hitler strongly suported it Eugenics (racial hygene) aa were gettin on thin ice hahha.

Ill judge myself im normal (Overruled!) yes your honnor FU

  • Would you say that this is the concept of evolution in the mind, or the state of the community? The individual or the herd . . . in a true world or more of a conceptual world. What in therapy would bring enlightenment in a painful, yet non-direct way. Neurosis is being vigalant in a concept yet proceding. Can pride be mistaken? Reasoning is sought out only in terms of numbers to a degree not yet known! Evolution is the only way out! How is creation opposed to everything? Dilagence of the mind!!!

  • what's normal doc ?

  • so ulster county mental health sucks - psychiatry sucks - I have two schizoid pretend parents and a counselor who thinks I'm her lesbian girl friend who wants to be raped and I should love to live in dirty housing.

  • too much facial hair is abnormal

  • one unit of ? literal + creative+blind= physiology

  • Ti për veti s'koke normal e pe na thu neve, mer karcylll!!!

  • The word normal should have never existed ! It's not like a math problem that has the same answer we all can understand and agree on. It's our interpretation from our own life experiences that made us feel comfortable. Our lives are all different, so how can you and I have the same normal ?

  • lol nice he scared me to.

  • Think about the fact that psychiatrists, those who define normality, are in fact abnormal.

This guy is waiting impatiently to prescribe us some of his pills.

  • Bolt Mr... NO-ONE analyse me because MY mind IS MY own and the said David Oaks talk toffee pops as do YOU santa (((...

  • Being normal is only based on how one perceives it.

  • What is normal?

  • Are you normal, Sir?

  • being normal is like being sheep granpa, and you look like a hungry goat

  • Comment removed

  • Sir, you may have a Ph.D. but you must practice the way you give speeches.

    ...

Or get one of those teleprompters used on tv shows

  • Your beard is fucking abnormal !

  • @galhardo14 you dumb kids these days have zero respect for elders.

  • @galhardo14 no the beard looks rather normal...

  • @galhardo14 its awesome

  • i like how ironic the video is... lol the guy thinks he is normal....poor guy..

  • Well, if everyone is abnormal, and it's a common personality, wouldn't that actually make them normal in a sense?

  • Is he normal???!!!

  • he reminds me of my art teach.

  • my mum walked in on me when i did my animal noise. I had to convince her I didn't need counseling.

  • really? THIS guys gonna determine if im normal or not

  • Gotta love the difference between the psychotic and mystic. Better bear that one in mind.

  • Hmmm normal only applies to measure - you can't measure a human being only characteristics. Is that a church he is in ? Surely not a credible scientist wouldn't associate themselves with fairytales

  • @tubenoobster Excuse me ? Which fairy tales ? Before you make your epically failed claims, research how many of the most important scientist of the past and our time are actually spiritual.

What I'm saying is a matter of objectivity and empirical evidence, look at the statistics.

What YOU are trying to say is FAIRY TALES.

  • Well, I watched the first 10 seconds, laughed my ass off, and proceeded to get bored and stop laughing. :3

  • He scared me too

  • If normal means common, then there are more normal people that non-normal people. So what is normal?

  • When one looks at states like psychopathy one wonders if it is a wired trait or situational. the video "freedom from conscience -- melanie's journey" describes the how politicians and psychopaths share the same traits, but is it that psychopaths are drawn to politics, or is it that politics brings out the psychopath in those involved?

  • @edwardsson777

    Woah.

  • I hate psychologists, I hate psychiatrists, I hate the human fucking race for declaring itself as the superior inheritors of this planet. As if any human had a fucking clue what was going on in another persons head. They play their stupid fucking games. Maybe nothings changed, but the labels they create? Consciousness is simple, It is very easy to get past it, but fuck them for attempting to steer the direction of individuals in this fucking shitchicken rat race.

  • I dont understand how an entire industry is built around an hypothesis of 'normality'

  • SHIET..THIS IS AWESOME

  • I love how people post their own(extended) opinions on comment sections for vids like this as if most ppl care.

  • Indeed. How you define "normal" is different for everyone.

  • i stopped it at thirty seconds no shit asshole you try to state the obvious to much your abnormal

  • @MALUMDR the videos ten minutes long, you stopped at thirty seconds. you're clueless.

  • @CriMSWoW yes but i can see how entertained your were by the video i was smart enough not to wast that extra nine and a half minutes reality and time are both illusions watta watta what is intelligence anyways we like stuff that kill us and thrive for meaningless things whatever except the lies or be unhappy

  • this person seems abnormal himself.

  • I have yet to read the text referred to in what "normal" is.

  • gezzz, this guy doesn't look normal

  • He scared the fuck out of me when he growled. :(

  • Thanks.......really interesting.......conformity and insercurity are rife over here in England and the band width seems to be getting narrower............set yours by becoming a hippie, a businessman, or a middle class civil servant of some kind (moral , academic type) and thats about it really. The golden rule is too be anybody but yourself! Very uptight!

  • no one normal would watch this video through without thinking "is there a fucking test or are you just going to talk?"

  • There is no such normality. Nor is there abnormality.

  • Normal's a setting on a washing machine. Enough said.

  • I didn't make an animal noise. But I burped and didn't say pardon =D

  • Is Dr Breeding still promoting, and being endorsed by, Scientology?

  • @Valelacerte

Does it matter? He is wise.

  • @riverlioness Yes it does matter if he promotes Scientology (he still posts articles at Citizens Commission on Human Rights (a branch of Scientology)) because if he promotes an amoral, unethical, and criminal organisation such as Scientology, then it calls into question his own ethics and morals.

I don't disagree with the man regarding things like ECT, but he discredits himself with this affiliation.

  • Comment removed

  • @Valelacerte

The government isn't an immoral organization? Christianity and catholicism are humane? You just discredited alot of people with that logic.

I don't believe in guilt by association. I pefer the concept of individuality.

  • @riverlioness The government, Christianity, and Catholicism are all immoral and inhumane; they discredit themselves by being immoral and unethical establishments. It is not guilt by association when the association is a deliberate and conscious choice; this individual didn't just happen to be part of Scientology, he chose to be. Individualism doesn't mean an abdication of responsibility.

  • @Valelacerte Could you please expound upon the reasons as to how Christianity is inherently immoral?

  • @getdjman It is immoral to raise children to think that baseless assertions are valid, to manipulate them with punishments and rewards from entities and realms that have never been proven to exist, and to make them doubt their own minds. If Christianity were at all empirical, you wouldn't have a thousand different splinter groups, and theological debates, offering different interpretations of the scripture. Belief in gods, angels, and afterlives is brain damage inflicted on children by parents.

  • @Valelacerte There has been no conclusively empirical studies which have corroborated atheism either. You seem to resent the instillation of morality into one's child. Personally, I find no fault with telling children that it is immoral to lie, cheat, and steal. I have been a vehement follower of Christ for the entirety of my life, carried a 99 GPA in school, and was told by my pedagogues to be an exceptionally independent thinker. Therefore, I do not understand your "brain damage" argument.

  • @getdjman "There has been no conclusively empirical studies which have corroborated [the rejection of something that I am unable to provide any evidence for]"? I don't provide evidence for why I don't accept your bald assertion; you claim, you prove.

Everyone, other than the corrupt, is clear that lying, cheating and stealing is immoral; it's not a Christian invention.

Religion is full of unfounded lies and bigotry, that you only pick the obvious and nice bits is dysfunctional thinking.

  • @Valelacerte You should not denigrate a faith to which erudite men, far more brilliant than yourself, have adhered. It is not for the those who have incapacitated cognitive function, such vulgarity and blatant bigotry (something you speciously claim to oppose) is not a sufficient argument. You must know that free will is a focal tenet of Christianity. If one could objectively prove the existence of God, it would essence, abolish one's ability to deny his existence.

  • @getdjman I have no interest in "erudite men" who believe in nonsense, this is an argument from authority. God controlled the crops, then we understood plants, god controlled the waters, then we understood oceanography, god controlled the weather, then we understood meteorology, god put us at the centre of the universe, along came Copernicus and Galilei, god controlled the planets, then we understood cosmology. Every year, god is relegated.

I'll leave you to your endless Theological obfuscations

  • @Valelacerte You also exhibit hubris when you convince yourself that we 'understand' such fields of study. Any individual with a doctorate in physics, or cosmology, or most any of the aforementioned topics would brusquely inform you as to the unintelligible elements of science which we have not yet been able to conceive. Atheistic scientists, since the inception of their antagonism towards faith, have claimed to understand everything, or have claimed that the understanding will soon be achieved.

  • @Valelacerte (1) To begin with, most of the scientists who have made the discoveries which you have discussed believed that they were promoting God by advancing knowledge of nature. I also do not believe that the Bible discusses God's regulation of crops. It also does not state that the Earth is flat or is in the center of the universe. These are all things which not only clergy, but also scientists assumed until the technology was available to demystify such complexities.

  • 0:45 That woke me up

  • While it is true that normality is difficult to define and there may be no such thing, what is also true is that are Cultural Norms that if not met will label the individual as abnormal. Not all of these are cross cultural but every culture has them.

  • What in normal? Normal is a setting on a washing machine; it has nothing to do with people.

  • normality is arbitrary. I will be as abnormal as i want.

  • @shadylurker138 I say we all engage in creative maladjustment.

  • after the animal noise i was scared off him making another one out of nowhere lol

  • you made an animal noise to. hold up, you made 3 or four animal noises. does that make you more abnormal than the person that just came up with one?

  • my professor has a better hairstyle ;)

  • omg!!!!!!!!!!! i said moo he screamed and i pissed my pants...

  • OMG. You totally said "Make an animal noise" and I meow'd...and then you meow'd. It was awesome XD

  • Excellent video

  • HAHAHA DOCTER NO ONE IS NORMAL!! I LAUGH ALL THE TIME AND PUT PICTURES OF PAINTED FACES ALLLLL OVER THE SCHOOL!!!HAHAHA

  • Hey. You, the guy in the video. Are you normal???

  • constantly showing bleached blonde women in the media and squashing out others isnt normal!!! pay attention to how many times you see the bleached image from now on!!!

  • Ive always said that I would rather be considered crazy than normal cause look at what all the normal people are doing to the earth, to each other, to so many.

  • haha I did the cat too, thank god I'm not normal.

  • The normality test is one of the dumbest, flakiest things I've ever seen.

  • He asked us to "make an animal noise"..... He then said that if you made an animal noise, you are abnormal. If you asked me to make a car noise i would have made a horn sound....

You can't ask me to do something and the when i do exactly as you have asked, judge me to be abnormal for doing ask you have asked.

  • Even if there was a normality test, I think this guy would fail it.

  • nice, except for the beggining part with the animal sound....first of all, i was breathing, all animals hear their heart and breath....second how can you judge the time or if someone is sleeping? again u judged...normal is everywhere its all about blocking out negative areas ;)

  • ZZzzzzzz

  • Are you normal?

  • The dude doing this is very abnormal....looks like some sandal wearing, polygamist, axe murderer to me!

  • there is no normal there is no definition of normal everybody is unique in there own way

  • there is no normal

  • i'm still trying to get some help. it's a little abstract, but i'm desperate.

  • @returnoftheramble3

    Yoga helps

  • i made a chart. indeed, all humans are mad but me.

  • i must suffer eternally for someone else's glory but i learn to not suffer, which pisses them off. humans have needs and drives and all my are abnormal because i'm trying to survive. no, i don't make friends, I can't stand people, and i can't go many places because i'm vulnerable and i can't not focus on external things.

  • Brilliant stuff! It's great to see a psychologist with so much insight and understanding. Unfortunately though there are a few comments posted here that show real ignorance. Sadly, it's a fact of life that there will always be a number of people who just don't see it. Too afraid of popular opinion to ever really know their own mind.

  • After you made that animal-noise,i laughed so hard,my cactus fell from my PC,when i was trying to get it up again,i still laughed.my fingers hurt, and after i realised the cactus destroyed my handy,i STILL FUCKING LAUGHED!!!!

  • why is this related to all those sexy videos in the sidebar? (O_O)

  • This one is rather amusing. xD

  • man i like you're personality : )

  • There are both desirable and undesirable behaviors and inclinations.Well-illustrated in a small video-clip .With notes in English,French & Spanish it is easy to understand persons of different types. Can be viewed by "Copy & Paste' on Google Search Videos: 'BODH:Learning Konkani:Advanced:1'

  • WTF

  • Thank the lord i was not born normal. I did shout a cheer at the end though.Don't let this mean I'm normal please Great stuff

  • your mom is abnormal

  • what is normal?

  • I'm currently in high school

And I agree with this guy completely. I believe that everybody is unique in their own way. But most of them are to scared to break out of society's cage of 'normism' but are scared of what other people will think. I suppose that most people could be categorised as normal by saying that they are unique but are just to scared to show it.

feel free to respond. What are other people's thoughts on this?

  • Normal is defined by society's standards, unlike moral standards which I'd so love to believe. Didn't you know it was normal to have slaves? And seeing as how society is utterly Fucked up, you can't be a normal person according to those tests.

Normal should be Moral. I even made that rhyme for you.

  • I jumped out of my skin at your animal noise!

  • i thought of a t rex at the animal part

  • This guy is NUTS!

  • OK this will be a long comment.

i laugh and laugh an laahahaaahaaa sorry, ha haa. i know i'm not normal, and i like it hmhmhahahmm. ok. make an animal noise, NOT. because it's 3am. i like lions and cats, does chupacabra counts as an animal? ha lol. but exactly WHAT is NORMAL??? i have to study more. what about evil laugh? i have 3 kinds of laugh - 1 - whaen something is funny, 2 - when i feel so powerful, and 3 - i have no idea why i laugh. ha haa. you totally look like me in 40 years. yaa..

  • if i laugh too much, and i don't laugh at all, sometimes, does that makes the middle choice - normal?

well i laugh for 3 days in week, and 3 days dont laugh, and 1 day in a week i don't know who, what, where, when i am.

  • excuse me, but I'm perfectly normal, you can say whatever you wanna say.

  • Are you a scientologist, John?

  • i would have been able to respect this if it weren't so politically inclined.

  • I'm picking up what he's puttin down.

  • What the fuck is this meandering dirty hippie bullshit? Yall can't even edit the gaps out of the video to make it more coherent? The vids about bipolar disorder and awareness were good but this is self-indulgent verbal masturbation. And the world doesn't need more of that.

  • I think this guy is Abby-Normal!

  • this is very true. I have always questioned what is normal; and who is the authority for it? normalcy nowadays is synonymous to what is comfortable, convenient and pleasurable for a person.

  • Patch Adams is cool.

  • Oink, moo, quack, quack, neigh, cock-a-doodle doo! There is no such thing as normal.

  • who set those "normality tests"? no such thing is normality because none of us could agree upon what is normal and abnormal. in my eyes drinking soda is abnormal. in yours it is normal.

  • saying "normal" too many times is abnormal.

  • Who wants to be normal anyways???? NOT ME!!!

  • Don't worry guy, you show absolutely no signs of normality.

  • ok if this guy ask himself is he normal and he answered yes then he got the question wrong

  • Haha, you remind me of my high school guidance counselor. Both of you are awesome.

  • The few who control the planet, wants you to be normal. Normal as in "slave" and "victim". Slaves dont have a natural human response when they experience the suffering of themselves or others. That's where we are today, the sick are called normal, and the healthy are called mentally ill.

  • ?!?!?

  • This guy is one my heroes. And when I say hero I don't mean glorifying the individual rather, upholding his ideas, beliefs as being of the utmost importance for society to embrace them and implement them for the well being of humanity.

  • I feel exactly that way about normality. It's like how everyone thinks it's okay that the whole purpose of their lives is having kids. And the whole purpose of those kids' lives should be having kids... it may be normal, but all it gets you is overpopulation.

If martin luthor king had considered having kids enough as a life's purpose where would we be? Or Gandhi? Or anyone important?

  • uncle Freud, come back, please come back!

  • This guy's supposed to be a PhD and he thinks the word is "normality"? (I don't believe him.)

  • @NVanWendy You're supposed to be an adult and you don't own a dictionary? Look it up, it's a word.

  • @jm2trash Apparently you're right. It wasn't always a real word, back when normalcy was the preferred term. I suspect it still is in academic circles. Another thing to make me feel old...

  • psychologist looking like santa claus is not normal to me

  • i guess i'm normal haha :D

  • Anyone who submits to a test is abnormal... unless the tester is God himself. This guy looks like your typical gourou psycchologico-psycadelic trouble shooter offshoot from the hippy days, when every asshole on earth was trying to get to Marakesh with fanned flowers in his hair !!

  • I put on a kangaroo suit and hopped around my laptop three times making boot-up sounds. Does that mean I AM normal? Will they let me into regular school now?

  • WOW, at 0:45 this video is PRICELESS!!

You're a hilarious old man. Wise, but hilarious.

  • so nobody is normal?(going by that test)

  • He's kinda sarcastic. lol.

  • HOLY CRAP! You scarred me sooo bad when u made ur animal noise. i had my speakers turned up really high and looked away just as u did that lol.

  • @AStewart611 LOL same thing happened to me.lol

  • "Normality screening."

That's incredibly vague and is obviously not a name of a specific psychological or psychiatric test. What is the specific instrument/scale you mentioned?

  • Obviously, any specific, standardized and measurable scale or instrument would be subject to the nefarious laws of normality. Subsequently, it would restrict the immeasurable uniqueness and individuality of the human psyche, forcing humanity to conform to to a set of artificial and insufficient definitions. What are you, normal or something? Normality is so sick! No wonder people are going crazy all over the place. Get out of that box and start thinking!

  • @jannevellamo this is probrably the reason why teenagers are acting out now, schools try to force you to be a certain way(not talk, follow directions to the dot, ect.)

  • @rubiksking12345 It seems, the more we know about humanity, the less of it we allow each other to have. Mostly, this seems to be the handiwork of people in a position of authority. Humanity and authority apparently tend to be natural enemies. The more room there is for humanity, the less concentration of power there is. So? Fight the power, if you really want to be you.

  • @Azriencock I think it's meant to be ironic. LOL

  • Interesting thoughts. I was a little frightened at 5:04 though when you popped up smiling like that in a still frame. That was abnormal.

  • Think of the underlying law of nature.

Consider its astounding inferences and implications.

The single, underlying law ... of nature! Not merely of physics, chemistry, psychology, biology, etc., but of all fields of inquiry known to humankind. The law we can all relate to, identify, understand and apply.

Ask yourself. What is the underlying law of nature?

Delight in the question. Have fun in the process of finding the answer firsthand for yourself.

    Google it, as a start.

  • yahoo, im not normal

  • hahaha, you may be the most normal person, who is a psychologist, that I have ever encountered!

(I grammatically worded it that way cuz otherwise I'd be incorrecly implying that most pschologists are normal;)

  • how are you normal then

  • Pause at 0:46 and you will have a great time trying to fall asleep

  • @Kingddd333 lol, but also try 2:35

    Thats scary.

  • @Kingddd333 HOLY FUCK THAT SCARED THE BE JESUS OUTTA ME

  • @Kingddd333 lmao

  • Comment removed

  • @Kingddd333 OMG ur right i was laughing like crazy. and it's still paused lol

  • Im as mad as the proverbial hatter, and proud of it !!!

  • you mentioned warmongering...made me think of the 9-11 truthers being called "delusional" at every turn..those who oppose war being scolded as "stupid" or again "crazy". when, i see this i feel abandoned. i see psychopathy all around & it is depressing. i see the hateful comments left here for you & i just ask myself, why? i don't have any answers, i find myself wanting to say i'm sorry & apologise for them. i need to hear what you are saying, so thank you.

  • Agreed.

  • i think when to much thought is put into something it losses it meaning.

  • Buddy! heres a tip for ya...

READ THE FUCKING PIECE OF PAPER BEFORE YOU MAKE THE VIDEO! that way some of us might actually stay awake and not nod off while you're reading...

  • if everyone is normal would that cure insanity or is that insanity?

  • hahaha your stoned!

  • matt121242 did you mean he looks like
