New Team Infinity 18S Engine

How do you get those engines tuned so well? Could you tell me those needle settings please? I have a new one coming this week as i seized my old one. Is the S better then the older one? Thank you.

@TAMIYA911 There is no needle setting that will work, it comes down to what fuel your using, what temperature it is outside and several other factors, you just have to start rich and slowly lean it bit by bit, tune to performance not to some miracle setting. There is now the Infinity 21 engine so I don't sell the 18S anymore, the 21 is same dimensions but different internals so that it is .21, insane amount of power, makes this engine look weak! check it out on my website

I have been offered a 18s for £25 unused, does this sound good? Its only for a smartech speedy tiger buggy so it should be powerful in that. is 16% big bang model technics any good for these engines? I live in england so wether i much the same.lol Thanks

No, it is the same engine on the 2009 condor onwards, I have one, after breaking mine in correctly I might add, I couldn't tune this engine, on examination I found 4 air leaks, carb mount, back plate, fuel tank & front bearing! Fixed them changed stock no. 4 medium plug for a hot one on 16% and wow what a power plant! Engine temps dropped and tuning was easy!

i ahve a truck with this same engine and there both new and the truck will not stay running without the gloe igniter on the plug runs fine if i leave it on there take it off and it dies immediatly everytime again there both new ??

Give it some power then remove the glow plug and for the first 5 seconds dont let it idle.

It will just be a dead glow plug, change the plug and it will be fine.

i have this same car new and its had about four tanks threw it idels fine and will move around fine low to mid range but seem to fall out in open throttle bogs bad and sometimes quits i sat the carb to the factory settings any sugestions thanks

Idle Speed Adjustment

This spring tensioned screw is located beneath the air filter, facing towards the front of the vehicle.

this myt be a sily question but when im full speed my turns arnt sharp enough and take a wide turn. is there a way to tune that?

you can't turn at full speed, simple.

There is no wrong way, depends what car its going into, can be swapped around.

Your High speed needle is too lean, so richen it about half a turn.
