Thank God Almighty I am no longer a priest in this diocese. This is NUTTY stuff... complete retrenchment and sabotage of Vatican II. How can any Vatican II priest in this diocese put up with this pre Vatican II theology and carrying on???

@novaalex2008 I don't see the difference between the theology of Vatican II and pre-conciliar Vatican theology, it was a liturgical reform. More so, the Vatican promotes the "Tridentine" Mass, as stated by @UponTheAltar , even promoted by the Holy Father himself... which explains Summorum Pontificum and in the instruction of SP "Universae Ecclesiae" it states "Roman Liturgy, defined respectively as ordinaria and extraordinaria: they are two usages of the one Roman Rite, one alongside the other"

@treeloop98 I was raised with the New Mass. The Novus Ordo (although valid) is a protestantized Mass and was created for ecumenism in order to attract non-Catholics to the Catholic Church. The Tridentine Mass is far superior in many ways. It's prayers are more solemn, it's wording is more in tune with what the Mass is accomplishing, its overall format is very respectful and reverent toward God, and all the major doctrines of Catholicism are taught and preserved.

@novaalex2008 If you are truly a Priest then you are a disgrace to the Catholic Church for saying such things. It is individuals, such as yourself, who have single handedly distorted , perverted, and outright denied true Catholic teaching and doctrine which has been handed down over the centuries. You allow, dare I say promote, abuses & aberrations in the liturgy and would rather be "popular" than speak the truth. Of death, judgment, heaven & hell.You are truly lost but too blind to see it.

I can truly recommend the two full Tridentine masses I have uploaded from the Dutch Amsterdam based church Agneskerk. Also served by the FSSP on a daily basis. Fr.Dr. M. Kromann Knudsen and Fr. Dr. A. Komorowski. Church is a large monumental basilica which was not adjusted after the Vatican II council, thus suited for the Tridentine mass, although the church is a little too big (1270 seats...) But as it was a "free"gift from the bishop, we should be gratefull.
