The Penny Arcade guys are amazingly sincere and, even though I hate to use this word, nice. In a nutshell, they've proven that gamers can be and are a positive influence; look at Child's Play, PAX, and the upcoming scholarship. You can disagree with Penny Arcade, but you have to respect their credibility.

However, though I know Mike and Jerry are nice guys (I met them once in Dallas and once in Boston), I also know that it's hard to not trip over your ego if you are very good at what you do and well-known, admired, and praised for your work.
Also, Jerry's writing style can seem pretentious, as its chock full of five dollar words, though I know it's just because he really enjoys writing.
And we'll use proper grammar when interacting with you, just so you'll think some importance has been added to your life which we imagine you find a lacking satisfaction of.
