@conradortn I am a guitarist, bassist and a drummer (not to blow my own trumpet here) but I primarily play guitar and always have done. John is one of, if not my favourite guitarist besides Hendrix, and it is a massive blow to see him leave but still the Chili's march onwards. Don't get me wrong I am definately not saying he or the others are unimportant because they all are in my opinion absolute geniuses, but without the Flea the bands heart and soul would be lost, and thats my honest opinion.

@silverguitartom- I feel ya man! Flea/Anthony are the only original members left (NEVER to count out Chad and John)! I feel that people are already ignoring Josh without giving him a chance. It wont be the same, but that's John's protege! He's got to do something right. Although a bit sad about John, I look forward to their next album. Lord knows modern mainstream music needs it!!!

@silverguitartom im play guitar, bass and drums too, (bass mainly). i think its flea and chad that make the chilis so great. i know from experience that no matter how good the guitar and vocals are, to sound great you need a tight rhythm section, and the chilis have one of the best. i do think they will be different without john, but not necessarily worse. we will just have to wait and see, though im sure they will still kick ass.

najpopularniji i najbolji su razlichiti termini, oluja veze sa svirkom nije imala, bio sam na mnogim koncertima gde je vreme bilo daleko loshije pa je svirka trajala i dalje, potpuni nedostatak emocije i umetnichkog pristupa, o tome govorim, klasichno sterilno otaljavanje ne volim, a kad obidjesh dovoljno koncerata i chujesh neki dobar bend znacesh i sam. nadam se da sam uspeo da ti objasnim, ostaj dobro dragi prijatelju.

@mineralturbo brate, obisao sam nekoliko velikih koncerata, neki su trajali i duplo duze, ali nije u tome bit. njihovi koncerti nikad i ne traju duze od stotinjak minuta... pogledaj neke DVDove (Slane Castle, Off The Map..) sve su to koncerti po sat i po... cinjenica je da je Dzon razmazen, ali covjek je povrijedio nogu i koncert je trajao 2 pjesme krace nego je planirano. uostalom, ja vjerujem da su koncertom nezadovoljni samo oni koji su dosli zbog spektakla o kome se prica ne zbog koncerta...

most likely a WH-10 wah by Ibanez, if you are talking about John. They go for about $300 a piece as they were discontinued, very nice still. Either that or a line 6 modulator pedal which are about £200.

In the studio he did use Doepfer's LFO (Low-Frequency Oscillator)and live he sometimes uses hes electro-harmonix flanger pedal and sometimes he uses the slow pass filer by Mooger Fooger.
