  • Dude CM 690 II Advanced or Corsair 650D?

  • My left ear is dead!

  • You might have wanted to get a aftermarket cpu cooler

  • oh, geezus replace the mic please.

  • I have that case just bought it 2 weeks ago, I love the case.

  • I went from an Antec 900 to this....'nough said

  • did you have to splice any wires with that psu for cable mangament or did you just tidy them behind ?

  • "stiff so you can bend them"

    lol..

I really want to get the nVidia edition, what are the differences?

  • @Fencefeet It looks do have good airflow :/

  • Hey there mate great review!! that was awesome you just sold me the case! I had a question towards you if you owned this case as part of your main rig, where would you install fans, would you install some on side panel? I thought 2 on top and 2 on side panel is that too much? because i wanted a 1:1 ratio of in and out so 2 top and 1 rear for out and 2 side and 1 front for in

  • Will the Asus Crosshair IV formula fit in this case? I'm using the Corsair Obsidian 800D but need to buy a cheap case 'cause I'm going to a LAN-party far from home so it needs to be light and look normal/ugly so no1 will try to steal it or components. If it does not, would you mind recommending a good travel case that fits my mobo and a HD6970? Thanks!

  • I was wondering how on earth you managed to get that build so cheap (I also build computers as freelance work), until I realized that your client will be using the on-board graphics. I'm not sure why you chose to go with the Corsair 550 though, it isn't terribly future-proof. Other than that though, fantastic build, especially your cable work, it has inspired me!

  • @TheAeolisticAgelasts

Hey man thanks for the feedback I always appreciate it. Glad it helped! And as a side-note I chose the Corsair because the unit is just so damn reliable. I've used it in like 10 different systems, and it remains the ONLY power supply to give me no issues whatsoever. And it was super cheap at the time :D

  • is the amdphenom ii x6 1055t better than the amd phenom ii x4 965 black edition?

  • How much did your client pay for the whole computer with windows 7?

  • ok just a quick question i have the same case and all you can check out my newest vid if you want but where is the black 140mm fan that comes with that case when you buy it????????? Um yeah its the top exhaust fan BTW And um yeah i agree with you on this case COOLER MASTER FTW on cable management is awesome on that case.

  • will a 500w work

  • What's the spec on the RAM? I'm considering this mobo as well, but not sure if it can support 1600MHz?

  • Awesome video! Love the build. I am really thinking about buying this case. Looks so solid.

  • How difficult would it be to change the front fan on this? I want a green led fan but with the switch it seems like its going to be a different than a normal fan install

  • Nice build although i would have future proofed it a little more with a bigger psu. At least 650 or 700.

  • hello i need a quick answer about this case...can u tell me can i put msi big bang fuzion in it... plz answer

  • -This a BASE version of the case, not ADVANCE

  • GD3BQ-W9RYD-69MMD-XM7R7-CQT6H ????

  • just 550 watts? also nice video.

  • id say this is a mainstream build...

  • i'm sorry to tell this but this is the basic version, the advanced has standard a 140mm fan on the top, has al the 5.25" bays screwless (you only 2) and has a serial-ata dock at the top your's doest have this

  • This is such a nice case and well built, im going with this for my new build

  • dude do you get much work doing custom builds?

  • this case was everything I hd wanted in the original 690. I just picked one up to replace my Antec Three Hundred

  • how did you get the corsair sticker

  • @crimson177 It comes when you purchase a corsair power supply

  • GIGABYTE FTW

  • @crimson177

    Amen.

  • @crimson177 HARD!

  • This is such a sweet case had to watch this vid again posted a response if you want to accept.

    good day.

  • Thanks for that product key :) Should of left it out of focus...

  • @mosesdog2

Haha it's already been activated on one computer so it's useless on others but that is certainly a good point haha I might annotate blurr it. Great catch!

  • @Fencefeet I call MS, tell them that I upgraded 3 main hardware components, and they give me a new activation key :) Yours doesn't get shut down though, so not a huge problem. Good to know your using licensed software, if your making money, you really should not be pirating.

  • @Fencefeet but, they can call the number and microsoft unlocks the code. :)

  • @imonke1

Haha I know true that, but its better than nothing--the annotation is more kinda just insurance that youtube doesn't get pissed that I'm deliberately giving out some key or something. Ultimately though, my client is in no danger of having his OS deactivated, so that's what matters to me. Microsoft has stuff in place for this; if not you could just grab any friends random legit product key and do that haha.

  • @Fencefeet and you can turn off annotations:)

  • @Fencefeet Not entirely true, my old AMD64 & Core2 run on 1 and the same Win7 key :p

Was hoping to get lucky when I built my new system, but no, had to get another one ^_^

  • terrific cable management for a non modular corsair power supply

i am truly impressed. I was considering the Antec 300, but I've heard that can be too tight and mushy with lack of cable management and air moviement, so I'll shell out 30 bucks more and get this one instead when i decide to build a new pc in the nearest future.

  • @BIGDADDYF50 \: Corsair makes by far the best PSU's on the market.

  • thinking of building a similiar pc how much was the total build.keep the vids coming thanks

  • @DavidTechHD

In total the PC cost about $900 as of early July.

  • I wonder why nobody did already come with case, in which you just plug sata and power cables to some panel and then just put the hard drives in, without attaching any cables everytime you manipulate with the drives.

  • @paladinrulez

They have actually--they're called hot swappable bays, and many high end cases have them.

  • @Fencefeet I'm very disappointed, that Define R2 doesn't have it then :(

  • just worked with this case this week, purely amazing. Still like my antec skeleton better :P

  • too hide the audio cable, run it under the video card

  • i want this case so bad

  • @sharpshoooter82

Yeah it was an amazing case, I really gotta say.

  • @Fencefeet this thing is drit cheap ay microcenter its 80 bucks

  • @sharpshoooter82

Yeah I know, which is why it's such an amazing chassis.

  • great cable management

  • @B0HMED

Thanks! Gotta hand it more to the case than myself though
