That is so true what you said to another commenter. I know well what it is like to be prepared and have people make fun of you or ridicule for being a survivalist or even paranoid. Invariably the time comes when some one needs something whether minor or for real big time. Boy do they change their tune fast. It is a rich rich feeling. Hilarious too.

great edc bag....i just started carrying a large bag myself....awesome to have everything u need when u need it. I carry a very similar EDC backpack. A lot of people think it's overkill but, WE know better don't we?

I think you have a great set up. Too many people have a bunch of crap for wilderness survival and they live/work in the city. Makes me laugh.

Great EDC bag....I live in NYC...n I was also one of those unfortunate ones to get stuck out in Manh. on the day of the blackout and on 9/11.I didn't have any EDC kit on me then n believe me I learned the lesson FAST.I would recommend a police scanner,radioshack type[$75],its great...when the plane landed or crashed in hudson i was in the city n I knew xactly what was happening and I was able to meet up w/ my EMS agency..to help out..and to avoid traffic Jam. Very Handy!!

Great vid! There were several things I saw here that I hadn't thought about keeping in my EDC bag.

Can you give me any more info about the screwdriver (the one with the bits inside the handle) and the mini torch you have? I've been looking for both of those things, so any info about brands, usefulness, etc would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the comment. The light on the shoulder strap is an Inova Microlight. It has 3 modes, Low High and Strobe and costs about $20.00 The Screwdriver set is just for security head screws like Torx and Spanner head screws. A lot of the systems and locks I deal with use those type of screws. If you need any more info feel free to ask.

I appreciate the reply. When I asked about the torch I was actually asking about the mini blow torch you had in your pack. I have the exact same Inova light, which now is attached to the strap of my 5.11 Rush 24 backpack after watching this vid. Thanks!

Interesting EDC. I personally like to have more in the way of food, but I guess that isn't as necessary living in NYC. One thing you might want to consider is a loud whistle, I carry one to hail cabs, get people's attention and it can even be used to call the cops if necessary.

Another question for you: what brand of battery charger is that? Do you like that brand or is it just something you just grabbed off the shelf one day? Sweet Dude, Your security and lock pick skills soumd awesome. Like you said, it would be excellent for an emergency. This is one of the better EDC kits I've seen on YT. It sounds like you've made it perfect for your everyday needs. Very true about the camera in NY. I've been bringing mine around with me too, just in case something cool happens.
