I love how everyone thinks they know everything. First of all, He DID NOT re-wire his speedo to his tach. On cam ams you can switch from speed to Rpms by holding the trip button. Secondly, He is not on jackstands. He has it set to RPM's and he is revving it. Lastly, Can ams are the best Quad out there. Noting beats it. Don't hate until you actually ride one.

@cocacolaman95 He isn't running his engine to the max RPM, (Which you clearly stated is in the risk zone for engine failure) hes running it to the rev limiter. If 8k was too high for the engine, the ATV manufacturers would obviously lower the max rev limiter so that when customers take their new machine out for a spin, the guys at Can-Am don't get dick-loads of bitch calls the next day while they watch astronauts returning from the moon with blown up Can-Am engine part souvenirs in there hands.

I have a Outlander 650 and my speedo doesn't work like a tachometer. That neat.

it will work like that. all you have to do is push the black button on the screen untill engine speed comes up, once that is there pushit in and hold it, you will then see that the speedo is the tach and where the rpms were is now the speedo.
