I video'd seagulls from there some time ago..... got blown all over the place, so I know the score! I'm thinking about getting a Velbon DV 7000 tripod, Ive heard they are good! How are you finding the gorillapod?
@thenoize The main advantage is size and weight - you just throw it in your bag. I have a conventional fluid head tripod if I know I'll be needing it.
@thenoize Yes it would - and yes I did. You'd think the wall would be stable enough by itself though! A mighty breeze blowing in the July segment however.

Hi Dom..... one of those gorillapods you mentioned would be very handy on the cliff top wall .... did you get one in the end?
