This is about as perfect a live performance as you can get- without all of the OTT background effects that modern bands use....and, take note younger people...they actually play instruments AND write their own music. A Cowell-free zone..perfection,as I said.

for me the best live individual performance to date, they ripped the song apart, i mean u wanna see song being composed for recording and live then this song performance is it, the recording is good on the album but this live performance is of the hook. head banging performance

They did a similar type of beat to this at glasto this year but ended up hitting out with GPASUYF yet it was just as effective as this, this has got to be one of the best live performances of clocks ive ever heard

I kinda agree , they have outstanding elaborated songs like `God put a smile` but cheesy tracks too. They became MEGA Int`l stars , in a post-internet era , which is practically impossible unless u r a prefab product. Being Mega is more than just 4 guys , Coldplay is seing in the Industry as a Corporation, like the stones , U2. I only like `A Rush` album and x&y is good but they were alrdy Mega, the 1rst one is OK. Now, they are aiming towards asian fans, mega sales & catchy music.

@PietPassword I agree, although I`m a fan. Chris Martin himself in an interview said that they are just 4 ordinary guys who got together and just happened to have a good chemistry while playing. He said they`re not great musicians, but things sort of work out when they`re performing. what entices me is Chris` surrender to his own performance on stage. He gives himself away. that`s passion for what he does, although he`s not a great singer and occasionally makes mistakes while playing.

Chris Martin and his amazing piano playing is the best thing that has ever happened to the music industry. A performance that truly blows everyone away no matter the kind of music genre on likes. Coldplay will forever be the greatest band that has ever lived. No band in my book has amazing performance energy like them although a few bands come close. Going to a Coldplay concert next September! Hopefully I'm blessed with a performance like this! Keeping my fingers crossed! That bench is so lucky!

What does how hard the song is to play have to do with anything, if you can play an instrument pretty well most of the music that has made it big is playable. The guys are great musicians that have done as well as you can do playing their own style. To say they suck is just stupid, if you dont like them cool but to say they suck haha
