What kind of wood is the body on your guitar?I was thinking of putting the jb and a p-rail in a mahogany sg with the triple shot for splitting and series/parallel(i'm thinking of buying iommi's sig model or an epiphone prophecy and swapping pickups). The jb indeed adds dirt. Are you happy with the jb?Cause i've heard bad stuff about it.
@MattIsTheBest0522 It was a Vox AD50VT, not sure what Setting. I used coil splitters on the humbuckers, so when they were in the middle, they cleaned up really well, and when using one of the other, you could get a lot more dirt (you can hear the switch to the bridge pickups adds some dirt).
Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz combo, both pickups split, with the "screw" bobbin on, and not the slug side. a Decent tech should know how to wire it both ways.
Foolin´around YT I´ve just reached your video, then remember the old Gibson forum!
I lost interest since they change the format and leave. It´s a shame, since that community was very close and friendly those days. I wonder what people as Raptor might be doing now?
That was beautiful! Your choice of material is impeccable! BTW, my son plays -- he just started about a year ago. Hope he will one day appreciate the old school stuff. Keep playin' - great job!
Thank you very much for the comment! I started playing with bands like Blink 182 and Good Charlotte and stuff! I now play Beatles (70%) and Cream/Zeppelin/Freddie King (30%) so it just goes to show that tastes change a lot!! Just make sure he keeps playing!
You are one hell of a player nick! I'm a product of the 60's and watched one of the last live shows in '77 at the Oakland Coliseum. You are the bomb kid! Page runs in your veins for sure.
Vox AD50VT Valvetronix on an AC30 model! I think... note that the guitar itself has coil splits installed, so an of the rack SG won't be able to reproduce that sound

You are probably half my age and this is solid stuff. Such an under-rated and underlistened song, one of my favs. Nice.
