I didn't exactly like this movie. It's well made and everything, and plenty entertaining. But it sort of portrays Ed Wood like he was a simpleton or something. I think Burton was a bit presumptuous with a lot of aspects of this movie

What's weird about this movie is that it's made in the 90s, the plot happens in the 60s, it's made to look like it was made in the 40s, and I watched it in the 2000s! Mind blowing!

One unique thing about Ed Wood is that it's the only Tim Burton movie where the music wasn't done by Danny Elfman, instead it was Howard Shore, who you may also know as the guy who did the music for many Peter Jackson movies, including the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Depp seems to put it on a bit much (which I guess isn't a bad thing), but you can see in the elevator scene with the trannies and Bill Murray that Murray is perfectly at peace with his character. In fact, he probably didn't even have a character in mind.
