if I was a back-up singer but had my own group, I would still be happy as it is 1. singing (which I would love) and 2. exposure for my group. Otherwise it might just have been an off night, but they plugged through even though they didn't smile.. I have had those nights at work

One of my favorite songs by the group. And yes, the "back up singers" don't smile. I agree. BUT they aren't back up singers. They are actually a VERY amazing group called The Chapin Sisters. Idk how you would feel, but Idk if I would want to be anybody's "back up singer" if I was in a group of my own... Just saying.
