one of the weaknesses of the net is that people have lost the ability to give constructive criticism. Lots of people just go straight for the attack when they dislike something and youtube is most probably THE WORST forum for that happening. I didn't see the video in question but I applaude you for not being defensive about it but looking at it from another perspective. I think it's important for all of us as viewers to not only look at content, but at the intent of the youtuber. I don't know Dave personally but I think anyone who has watched his videos gets the sense that he is a kind, loving person who only hopes to entertain and inform us with his videos. Any offense is clearly not intended so respond honestly, but with love.
You are the most real vlogger on YouTube. I didn't see the video you're referencing, but I've seen all your others and I must say the thing I have always loved is your approach to getting us thinking about how we see certain things. I was subscribed to this certain youtuber two years. Every time he had a new video, I couldn't say there was any substance to it. Anytime he had a brilliant ideal at hand, it would lose any and all depth in the shallow pool that is his ego. He portrays a great message with a near transparent veil of negativity and self righteousness. He is holier than thou and thus too good for me.
I don't agree with everything you say Davey. There have been times when your perspective can be misconstrued as biased. Thus I comment a challenge or an alternate view, but never in a way that is so ill and full of disgust so as to hurt you. I didn't see the video in question but I applaude you for not being defensive about it but looking at it from another perspective. I think it's important for all of us as viewers to not only look at content, but at the intent of the youtuber. So I'm going to step out of my skin and do something I won't be proud of, but that I feel is necessary.
I was subscribed to this certain youtuber two years. Every time he had a new video, I couldn't say there was any substance to it. Anytime he had a brilliant ideal at hand, it would lose any and all depth in the shallow pool that is his ego. He portrays a great message with a near transparent veil of negativity and self righteousness. He is holier than thou and thus too good for me.

I never get to see Davey's deleted clip, so I don't think I can make an accurate judgement.
With that said, Dave made his apology, so give him a second chance. One mistake does not define a person. And to those who hate Tyler, he's just voicing his opinion. Dave himself said that some of his friends found the clip offensive, so Tyler's not alone.

I watched your video and i also read Tyler's Blog. I believe he did overreact to your video, I've watched both your videos for 4 years now, and i genuinely believe there may have been a misunderstanding. I took your video as a fun & humorous commentary, i don't know if that was the point, but Tyler did present a Valid point. Young viewers that watched it could have misinterpreted the video as something else. Don't feel bad, Remember your advice, and Don't let it in.

I'm sorry I didn't have the pleasure of watching the video you deleted. I feel cheated out of watching another one of your great edgy videos that push people out of their comfort zones "aussiebum" ;-). I respect that you chose to delete the video, but it proves to those who would censor you that they can with the right amount of threats and bullying. Frankly if I don't want to watch the video of a cute mostly naked openly gay man make a bad joke then I'd click 'dislike' and watch another video!

I saw the video, and my the way i see it, it's just another case of "Truth Hurts" syndrome. What you presented in that video, as it pertains to telling the truth, more than likely struck a chord with certain people, because it relates to them.

Fellow citizens of the LGBT community, it is time for a season of maturity, and if that means having to address some behavior issues, no matter how uncomfortable it is, then so be it.
