  • THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!

  • I just got my very first serger a couple days ago and was seriously intimidated by the inner workings. I'm thankful that it came pre-threaded and even MORE thankful that I found your video.

THANK YOU for saving me a serious headache. I'm attaching your warning to the machine as a constant reminder. :)

  • @Smitkins Awesome.

  • i do this too, but when the lower looper breaks is there an easy fix?

  • I don't know of one. It's tweezers and reading glasses time when that happens for me.

  • THANK YOU!

  • You are welcome.

  • I spent several hours last night trying to thread my serger. Today I've got a headache. There's got to be an easier way to thread a serger when the thread breaks or hangs up in the machine. Ughhh!

  • That is what I'm trying to avoid with this. They do break occasionally. I've only broken one or two and they broke towards the end so I only had to rethread the looper. I try to buy good quality thread and if I ever use a small spool I'm sure to put on the plastic guard to keep it from catching on the spool notch.

  • Only the needle thread should stick. Cut the knot when it gets to the needle and thread it like a normal sewing machine. The other knots should pass through the loopers easily. They could hang up in the tensioners if you have them tight, just pull them past the tensioners and let them be pulled through the loopers.

  • i tried this once and it got stuck and then I was screwed. Did you cut your string close to the knot?

  • omg, you're a genius

  • Hahaha, Thanks.
