I know this sound like a stupid question but I've seen russians write the letter "i" just like in lowercase english. I was wondering what letter it was.
I was watching this the other day and was not able to leave a comment. When I learned how to write, I put dashes/lines (whatever) above the T-sounding character and below the SH-sounding character. (Sorry, not set up to write in correct script.) Anyhow, it's unusual for me NOT to see that. Other than that bit that threw me, your handwriting is very clear and easy to read.
hi, it's me again. i was wondering if you could please upload more videos like this one. i can write the letters in cursive but i don't know how to connect them. i've seen your videos and i write down what is shown in print but i i have a hard time connecting the letters. could you make more please? i would greatly appreciate it. thank you.
@SimianRedEye in fact, my advice is to connect the letters as it more comfortable to you, because the most important thing is that the whole written phrase is readable, nobody cares how did you connect your letters...but i'll make some other videos about it for sure!
@LRowe55 thanx, in reality you can connect it like you want, coz such rules are important only at primary school and then people write in such different way, that you can hardly call it calligraphy! by the way, I do it in the lower part of the letter and not in the middle.
@MrsRussianLanguage ...................................The ones you normally see people write with when they are on the computer. Idk what they're called .
@redwolfluvr these printed letters(абвгдеёжз) we use for computer, you can see them in books, but when you must write smth you use the cursive letters!

@MrsRussianLanguage Okay, let me try it again. You write prettily, and it's very readable. It's also slightly different than I am used to writing.

nice video. one thing that always confuses me is how to use the letter б in cyrillic cursive... how does it join up to the following letter?

So they don't write with the weird letterings? Is it only with typing when you would see those weird letters?
