@bluemoondiadochi: So you're saying that it is historically incorrect that somebody would have a crap plough? I'm just saying. I know that many of the techniques that were used in the 17th century were actually worse than material used in Ancient Rome. So how does a crap plough make this historically inacurrate?
and just so i don't appear as some keyboard hero bitching without facts: google "drveni plug". pick pic from: seven rows down, third from left.
(tried to post links, but go figure, ***** wont allow it)
how it's SUPPOSED to work is:
ploughshare (the "iron pointed thingy") is FLAT on the ground, and BROAD. it UNDERCUTS the furrow, while the coulter cuts it off from the side. plank them flips it over.
and i know what i'm talking about, i'm an old plow fanatic, i've seen A PROPER plow of this type in action, and this one here is rubbish. and whoever made it knows NOTHING about that he's doing!
this is why i'm so apprehensive of "historically accurate" series...
this one soured me off this series. dont know if it's worth watching further really...
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! You have made my Christmas viewing this year! All sort of lovely new programs to watch. Eeeee! Plus Victorian Christmas...I'm as happy as a clam. Thank you!
Thank you for downloading history shows like this. I've looked at these on Amazon and I find I can't even get them in a format I can play so I am grateful you've done this as this is my only opportunity to watch them.

I LOVE this series! Chloe kind of ruins it a bit for me because she comes off as bitchy.
