Some people say that this kind of show promotes the worst side of the gay culture. I don't know if it's a bad thing because there are so many gays in the world and they are different from each other. There are a lot of gay that have this way of life and others that don't. There are rich gays, poor gays, religious gays, long term relationship gays, sex addict gays, etc. We can't label gay community or gay culture or whatever label people like to tie them.

Reichen has nothing that I desire to see as a gay man. The best person in the cast is Ryan, He is stereotypically gay but at least he has a level head. Derrick is just living vicariously through Reichen and Ryan, TJ is fabulous but follows Derrick like a dog to a bone, and Austin is just a sh*$ starter, he has no place being there. Reichen needs to get a hold of himself and needs an enema because he's full of sh*#

OMFG!!! If THOSE folks are supposed to be the "A-List", I want absolutely no part of it! In fact, I'd prefer to be on the "D-List" then with Kathy Griffin! Straight up: every member of the cast is totally ridiculous, whether it be due to their unjustified egos, absurd vanity, over-the-top flamboyance, or plain lack of brains. Under all circumstances, this show sets the gay community back many years and it just unnecessarily fuels the stereotypes the media negatively portrays of gay people.
